ABC Reporter Notices Rush Limbaugh Mangling His Words

Someone speaks up.

Rush Limbaugh deceptively edited the reporting of ABC Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper to suggest he was personally biased against Republican efforts on the debt limit. Limbaugh purported to show that Tapper was chastising Republicans for their position on raising the limits on the debt ceiling. In reality, Tapper was reporting on admonitions from economists who see danger in not raising the limit. Tapper described Limbaugh’s actions as “dishonest” and “misleading” editing.

All of a sudden a Democrat is in the White House, and Jake Tapper decides to ask tough questions. He wasn’t so interested before.

I should point out that I’m okay with the Obama administration being asked tough questions – they’re grownups and that’s why we voted them in – but it is kind of jarring when the same band of jackals who were castrated for the last 8 years suddenly decide to do something resembling their jobs.
