Harold Ford’s terrible attempt to run for a senate seat in NY continues, now with him arguing that the key to restarting the economy is a tax break for big business. In any other time, this would be a stupid idea, but it’s even worse now as we try to recover from this recession caused in part by that brand of conservative economics.
Ford compounds this stupidity by calling for a balanced budget. Clue for Ford: You don’t solve a deficit by creating a trillion dollar giveaway for big business.

Harold Ford was such a fail he was one of the only Democrats (at least that’s his party affiliation) that failed to win a race in 2006. He originally got his daddy’s seat down south, and now is carpetbagging up north in what is a pretty safe Senate seat.
