Aww, damn. The whole time I was reading that I thought it was for a homosexual relationship. Reading the fine print, it’s a man and a woman. Snore.

It’ll be nice when they start treating military personnel like adults again.

Fraternization has always been against the UCMJ. There is no “treating military personnel like adults again”. Perhaps, one of them was married? The military has always been against adultery.
These two people (the male is definitely the pilot since the article said all pilots are male) know the rules and risked their careers by breaking them. I say they deserve the same punishment that all other military personnel who have been caught in inappropriate relationships, have received. (including a 3 star Admiral just a few months ago). They need to show some restraint and act like adults since it can be a career breaker.

These rules always applied to the military, especially during the 90’s when they didn’t apply to the so-called Commander and Chief and his intern with whom he had inappropriate relationships. Once when a young officer asked our Captain why the hypocrisy and double standards, our Captain merely replied that we apparently had higher standards than the President. Enough said.
