“An aide to Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said in Anchorage Monday that Palin will not cooperate with a legislative investigation into alleged abuse of power. The Republican vice presidential nominee is being investigated for allegedly pressuring the public safety commissioner to fire a state trooper who was going through a custody dispute with Palin’s sister. Palin eventually fired the commissioner.” [Link]

Former Palin Press Secretary Meg Stapleton told reporters the investigation has been taken over by legislative “operatives” for the campaign of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, CNN reported. The Obama camp responded by saying the allegation is “paranoia,” and also denied sending staff to Alaska to help with the probe.

Ah, yes. Cry “They’re picking on me!” and declare yourself the victim without any evidence to support it. Step #1 in The Bully’s Book of Virtues.

If you had 18 attorneys breathing down your neck (being paid for by your opponent’s main man), how would you react?

I’d make them earn their pay. I’d give them N.O.T.H.I.N.G.

These scum-bag lawyers are being paid to find dirt on Sarah and thus far, this is all they can come up with??? C’mon fellas.

What a waste of campaign contributors money.

If Obama gets elected, let’s hope he doesn’t spend our tax money as frivolously as he spends his constituant’s money.

This whole thing stanks to high heaven and is a transparent sign of desperation.
