“A Pickens County High School teacher was arrested on charges of sexual assault with a male student. Laura Dene Lyles, 33, from Jasper has been charged with two counts of sex assault, two counts of sodomy and four counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor.” [Link]

“Jamie Lynn Greenwood, 41, allegedly had a sexual relationship beginning in March 2009 with a boy who was 15. The alleged relationship lasted nine months and concluded after the boy had turned 16. According to a probable cause statement, the alleged victim was a friend of Greenwood’s son.” [Link]

“Burbank Unified District School teacher, Amy Beck, turned herself into police on Monday afternoon. The 33-year-old teacher was apparently overcome by guilt, Burbank police told the Los Angeles Times. ‘She said she had sexual relations with one of her students,’ said Burbank police Sgt. “A northwest Indiana fifth grade teacher has resigned his post after allegations surfaced that he sent sexually charged text messages to some of the school’s eighth grade cheerleaders. ‘Something tells me ur not the goody good yur mom thinks ur. “Sarah Pirie, 27, appeared before Blackpool Magistrates Court charged with five counts of intentionally sexually touching the 15-year-old boy, The Sun newspaper reports. Pirie, who had minor roles on television shows Waterloo Road and Hollyoaks, allegedly took the boy to hotels in Manchester and committed the offences between March and June 2009.” Link

“Melinda Dennehy, 41, of Hampstead, turned herself in to Londonderry police and was later released on $10,000 bond. She was placed on administrative leave from her job at Londonderry High School on Wednesday, the day school officials and police were notified about the pictures going around school. The boy who received the photographs told police Dennehy also sent him text messages offering to have sex, and that she kissed him on the mouth in a classroom at least twice in recent months.” [Link]
