FAMU In Lawsuit Vs. “Big Rattler 77″ Sex Tape
“Big Rattler 77 is an amateur pornographic video that surfaced recently and suggests that the participants are from a black college in Florida with the colors orange and green. Although the video never says the students are from FAMU, the University says the damage is done. They first issued a cease and desist for the website showing the video and now they’re suing. Images taken from the video show the people are in a room with green curtains and an orange a green lei. A still shot from the video shows a FAMU clock on the wall. Students say they’re glad to see action is being taken because the images are embarrassing to their school.” [Link]

Washington DC To Ban Teacher-Student Sex
“In the District, it’s not illegal for a public school teacher to have sex with a student who is older than 16, the age of consent in the city. Emergency legislation sponsored by D.C. Council member Kwame Brown (D-At Large) would go part of the way toward addressing that issue, by requiring the school system to fire any teacher who is found to have engaged in a sex act with a student, regardless of the student’s age.” [Link]

20% Of Korean Students Are Sexting
“Following research on 1,612 middle and high school students nationwide, 323 respondents, accounting for 20 percent of the total, have engaged sexting, a combination of sex and texting. About 21.9 percent had taken nude or semi-nude pictures of themselves or their peers, while 2.8 percent recorded themselves or their friends’ masturbating or having sex. About 5.2 percent had sent sexually explicit text messages or emails. Many of them said it was just for fun or out of curiosity but about 17 percent said sexting could be a way to flirt with their love interests in the online world. ” [Link]

Australian teacher Mark Robert Stratford had pled guilty to installing a spy camera to capture students dressing and undressing.
