Douglas Feith On The Daily Show

What. An. Idiotic. Tool.

I’ll tell my kids someday, “There was a period of about eight years when everyone at the most important jobs in our government were crazy, stupid, evil or a combination of the three. No, really. This recent bout of competence we’re going through was a rarity at the turn of the century. Bong! Oh, viagra spam is so unseemly when they beam it right into your brain.”

Jon Stewart deserves a Pulitzer. He brings a level of intelligence to interviews that is so sadly lacking in journalism today… even though he isn’t a journalist.

Know what I’d like to see? A candidates debate on HBO moderated by Bill, Maher, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. That would be that best way to cut through the bullshit and talk about real issues that concern Americans in a language they can understand, with no pandering from the panel.

That would be something I’d pay to see. That or BBC rottweilers Jeremy Paxman and John Simpson. The candidates would feel like they had been put into a person sized pencil-sharpener at the end!
This whole ‘history will be our judge’ shtick is getting old.

Shit, I’d be happy with Jeremy Clarkson
