McCain’s Money Crisis

In a month where he was the sole Republican nominee, Sen. McCain pulled in $15 million in donations. In the same time period Sen. Obama pulled in $40 million and Sen. Clinton $20 million.

4 to 1. And the Democratic base has not completely solidified behind a candidate yet (though there is a likely nominee).

Those numbers look good for the Not Nearly as Bad Guys (the Not Republicans), which is good news. But keep in mind that with respect to total cash to be spent (think 527s, Bigass Tobacco, Bigass Oil, Pharma, and what have you), the Party of Rich Assholes holds a ginormous advantage.
