“A few weeks ago my girl Tina Fey said bitch is the new black. … Well, black is the new president, bitch.”

Shorter Tracey Morgan: You got served.

That was hilarious! Here’s the link

I predict that HRC’s campaign will try to get Tracey Morgan fired for calling her a bitch. But yeah, it was pretty damn hilarious.

Tracey Morgan just made a guest appearance, he no longer is on SNL.

My guess is that he made these comments for Obama because SNL was accused of campaigning for Hillary (which was pretty blatant to me). Morgan was invited to comment in order to offset all the pro-Hillary sketches that SNL had for the past three weeks.

BTW, Tracey Morgan was calling Tina Fey a bitch, not HRC.

Note: Even in the context, Morgan was using “b*tch” either to no one or to Tina Fey. Not HRC.

Not likely, Big Tex. We can always use the “I was imitating Rick James” defense. :-)

I predict that HRC’s campaign will try to get Tracey Morgan fired for calling her a bitch.

But it was Tina Fey who said it first.

Is there any conservative humor that even comes close to that?

pd100, go read P. J. O’Rourke. Dennis Miller also has his moments, but O’Rourke is The Master.

    J.

Dennis Miller hasn’t had a moment since 1998.

No, this is not funny. It is a perfect example of the sexist double standard that rightly infuriates feminists of all races (and both sexes).

I am a black male supporter of Obama but I am infuriated by this crap. Imagine if Tina Fey had used the word nigger. Would anyone be laughing? Bitch (especially when used as a synonym for woman rather than the old usage – the female version of bastard used to insult someone for specific behavior) is as hateful as the word nigger. It is one thing that all women have a justifiable right to be angry at black men for. Hip-hop has made misogyny hip and has polluted the culture. Every day girls have to go to school hearing words like bitch and ho, both in “music” blaring from radios and from other children. I can only imagine what that does to one’s self esteem and feelings of self-worth. Probably similar to what being called a faggot every day did to mine as a kid. It is cruel and disgusting. It also leads to increased sexual harassment and even rape as it dehumanizes females and once you dehumanize a group of people you can brutalize them without guilt.

The double standard between racism and sexism is one of the things fueling support for Hillary among many white women. Supporters of Obama should denounce and reject it rather than promote it with sexist comments and even T-Shirts (shame on them and anyone who wears that) that only inflame the situation.

Yawn. Or people could calm down on being so politically correct. We are killing ourselves with our restrictions on language. Everyone gets offended. How about getting over it?

    Absolutely terrific!

The video is unmistakably hilarious, but I have to agree with you Claude on this one. Thanks for pointing that out.

This message is to Claude, My friend, as a fellow african american male, I cant say I disagree with you but I can say you are wrong on one point. Tina Fey said recently that the term ‘b*tch’ is the new black, so in fact she started the ball rolling with the word. I can take it even further, if you think back to SNL more than 20 yrs ago, there was a series of sketches between Gilda Radner and Jane Curtain always ended with Gilda calling Jane a b*itch. REMEMBER??? At the end of his speech, he did in fact call Tina a b*tch, and tho it was wrong, I think he was using it to punctuate his point about what is the ‘new black’

All in all, it was a pretty funny commentary from someone I dont particually find funny. His take on Hillary being qualified because she was married to a former president and comparing that to Mike Tyson and Robin Givens was brilliant and something that I have thought for a while. If being with the president makes you presidential material, Monica should be running with Hillary then. So keep in mind, names are just words, and tho they can hurt, they only can do the damage if we give them power. Peace

    Claude,

I am a white feminist woman and I thought that was pretty funny. Tina and Tracy are friends; he wasn’t addressing her in derogatory manner, he was just using a clever play on words.

    Obama ‘08!

How come all the posts on Obama or HRC open with “I am a …”
    It’s always like:

I am a homosexual handicaped feminist black 89 year old lady dwarf and I am writing to say I support …

I think there is now an online template of how people post about these two candidates.

People keep talking about how Tracy Morgans not on SNL so Tina Fey has nothing to do with his paycheck but she is the creator and star of the TV show “30 rock” that Tracy Morgan is on. I loved this video and think it was the best Tracy Morgan has ever been.

OMG!!! LOL @ Scott!!! Now that was the funniest most profound comment on here. lololol. By the way, I am a 30 something African-American single mother of a tenacious 8 year old who loves to dance. lol..(But no, for real I am).

The link is terrible, and choppy. The jokes were funny but overshadowed by this garbage download. Tracy Morgan is a comedian and functioned as just that. Putting energy into his diatribe is ridiculous and somewhat sensitive. Barack and all public figures are under scrutiny, and subject to lampooning, I didn’t look at this vid as a representation of anything other than humor. As an educated Man, primarily educated Black Man, I am not willing to join in on the fodder as if all comments by people or Black people for that matter will have any correlation on the expected outcome. Barack Obama is going to be President of the United States, and unfortunately, because of the unprecedented aspect of it all he will not be able to affect or direct any considerable change for the people of color in this nation.
