I would add “…in a public office after pissing off the richest men in America for years on end.” At least it saves them the trouble of ginning up some false stuff.

What a bloody waste. Spitzer was everything that Deval Patrick wishes he were but clearly isn’t…now we’re stuck with the wrong one.
