Samantha Power Quits Obama Campaign

CNN is reporting that Samantha Power is leaving the Obama campaign for her stupid “monster” comments on Sen. Clinton. If only the Clinton team had the kind of scruples where that kind of speech - or much worse, as they’ve practiced - were a suspending offense, let alone a firing one.

Yes, if only Billy Shaheen had resigned from the Clinton campaign after his remarks about Obama’s past something-or-other use that’s just going to get the OW Homeland Security Agents in a dither if I actually mention it…

    Wait… what?

    He did?

    Oh, never mind.

Oliver must just be forgetful today…

You are missing the point. Hillary gets the, “Bitch Slap Theory of Politics” that the Republicans have used so effectively against Democrats for years, and are still working in the FISA fight.

Clinton and her campaign are completely inside the decision cycle of the Obama campaign, and they are bitch slapping them on a daily basis.

This is what Bush did in 200 and 2004, and Gingrich did in 1994. It works.

If the campaign wants to win, then they need to suck it up, stop whining, and get back to doing their fucking jobs.

This is not an artifact of evil or good, it’s because the Obama and his campaign have never seen this before and they are handling it poorly.

I agree with Power, and also the decision to part ways. Hmmm.

Depending on how this plays out, Obama’s campaignmight consider starting a secret program where you “get hired, say something evil about Hillary, and then get fired”. Man oh man, I would sign up in a split second ;-)

Power will be back after the convention. Mark my words. She’s aware she fucked up, and she resigned to cut the legs off of this story.

Now Clinton will have to go back to her strategy of endorsing John McCain for President.
