Clinton Campaign Once Again Revs Up The Waaaahmbulance

When they felt they would lose the Nevada caucuses, they tried to get them shut down. Now they see they could very well lose the Texas caucuses… so now they’re trying to get them shut down.

The Texas Democratic Party warned Thursday that election night caucuses scheduled for Tuesday could be delayed or disrupted after aides to Hillary Rodham Clinton threatened to sue over the party’s complicated delegate selection process.

In a letter sent out late Thursday to both the Clinton and Barack Obama campaigns, Texas Democratic Party lawyer Chad Dunn warned a lawsuit could ruin the Democrats’ effort to re-energize voters just as they are turning out in record numbers.

The Clinton team’s disregard for the rules reminds me of someone.

MyDD, I think, made the observation over what this is really about: Clinton’s team wants to leverage this potential lawsuit threat to hold off the results for the caucus portion of the primary. In other words, so she can be declared the winner of Texas on Tuesday (which in the primary portion she likely will be) and not have Obama declared the delegate winner until Wed/Thurs. (which following the caucus portion he almost definitely will be)

Is she still likely to win the primary? If the turn out is as what’s being talked about, then it is bad news for Hillary. The more people that vote, the better it is for Obama. And what if Obama wins the primary part? What excuse does Hillary have then? Will she pack it in? Fire Mark Penn and soldier on?

    Wait a second.

Just a while ago you were discounting a report from CTV as unreliable. But now you’re promoting a report from the Ft. Worth Star Telegram?

Perhaps you have a bias against Canadians?
