And what’s the Democratic-led Congress’ current approval rating again OW?

Yes, yes. The Democratic-controlled Congress. The one that continues to roll over on onerous things like telecom immunity. You’d think their approval rating would be higher when they allow such gold-plated Bush ideas to meet such little resistance.

Pretty low, because they keep caving in to Mr. 19% percent. The congress is not in low regard because of their liberalism, but in fact because of their conservatism.

I wonder if W even rates a prime-time speaking slot at the Republican Convention this year. Maybe he’ll Decide it’s time for another morale-boosting trip to Tanzania.

Oh for fuck’s sake. You are either trolling or stupid.

Find me any recent polls that suggest the Democrats are liked less than the Republicans in congress.

Don’t be surprised when 2008 end and the Republicans have lost even more seats in Congress.

It’s funny when confronted with Bush’s lack of popularity conservatives always have to point at congress’ low numbers too. Apparently they looked at the approval ratings for congress, dropped the paper and ran out to chortle and point them out. If they had kept reading the rest of the poll numbers they’d know that America thinks congress should solve it’s problems and not Bush. They’d also know that AMerica would much rather have a democratic majority in congress and that most Americans think democrats have better answers on nearly all issues. Low approval numbers do not mean support for Republicans or even danger to democratic members.
