Next week I will celebrate the 32nd anniversary of my 30th birthday, and if the weather is nice enough I will do it with a two or three hour mountain bike ride in the rugged hills near my house.

It’s always nice to find out I had one more ride left in me.

    Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Odub. May you be the recipient of a large cake…delivered by Jessica Alba.

Still feel the same? Don’t kid yourself–you’re at the threshold of geezerdom.

    Bwahahaha!

When you hit 30, the breakdown begins, young grasshopper. Soon you’ll notice you have less energy, the knees start to ache in the morning, and you walk into rooms and suddenly forget why you wanted to be there in the first place. You’ll become winded getting out of soft easy chairs.

And you’ll start wondering what time Matlock is on.

Congratualations! 20 was the big one for me, no longer a teen. 30 and 40 wern’t so bad. At 50, I realize what Quaker’s talking about. A good friend turns 80 next month. He says he doesn’t want sex anymore…but he doesn’t want it any less, either.

Congratulations, Oliver! Keep fighting the good fight! Here’s one of my favorite birthday songs, but it might be more amusing if you are a metal fan.

Only 30? You seem wiser than that.

Happy belated birthday. I am a regular reader, but rarely comment. You have one of my absolutely favorite political blogs - I look forward to reading it whenever I can. Thanks and keep it up.

In the words of an old friend of mine, “At 30 - the warranty runs out”! As a 45-year-old - I can attest to that - but there’s still plenty of good miles on both of us!

    Enjoy life my friend!
