Why Nobody Besides Wingnuts Takes Media Research Center Seriously

Marvel and DC are the two titans of the comic book industry. They clearly compete with each other but at the same time, some of the best artists and writers work for both companies. They are competitive yet admire the other’s product. Marvel used to refer to DC as the "Distinguished Competition".

I don’t speak for any media watchdog (see the disclaimer on the right hand column in every page here) though I clearly favor one, but there ain’t anything distinguished here at the "competition".
