MS Vista: Downgrade

Microsoft is apparently offering a tool to downgrade PCs to XP from Vista. From my quick experience with Vista, that seems like a feature, not a bug.

    (1) It’s not a software tool, it’s just a new policy.

    (2) Doesn’t apply to the ubiquitous Home versions the average Joe has to use (hint- buy your computers off the Business side from Dell, you can still buy XP preinstalled)

    (3) To utilize, you call Microsoft’s License Activation Service phone # with your qualifying Vista key and they will give you an XP key. You’re on your own to find a copy of the XP installation media (and a compatible version.. if you have an OEM Vista key, you get an OEM XP key)

I’ve actually had very little problems with Vista (I have Vista Ultimate) and while my PC can dual boot to either OS, I’ve found that I am booting into Vista much more than XP and the Media Center interface it uses with the Xbox 360 is better than my XP Media Center interface.

I was wondering how long it would take for a Mac fanboy to show up.
