Another One Bites The Dust

If a Democratic administration ever had this many officials in a department leave over a scandal like this, the MSM would breathlessly be chattering about the crisis of confidence in the White House. But this is a Republican president and subject to completely different rules.

Facing multiple investigations, a senior Justice Department appointee has resigned his post.

Bradley Schlozman stepped down from his position as a counsel in the Executive Office of U.S. Attorneys, a branch of the Department of Justice, last week, a Justice spokesman confirmed Wednesday.

    Media disinterest in governmental malfeasance is in full effect until Jan 21, 2009 then all of a sudden any minor indiscretion will be cause for alarm. Fox leads the other media outlets follow.

    I’ll add to that prediction…

    Right-wingers will forget all of the scandals that happened during the 8 years of Bush and will argue that because whatever happened under the Democrats doesn’t get more press, it is proof of a liberal bias in the media.
