The most unprincipled candidate in U.S. history strikes again.
Despite his “pro-life” campaign pitch, former Gov. Mitt Romney owns stock in two companies involved in embryonic stem cell research, a controversial field of study he previously cited as the reason for his rightward shift on abortion.
Romney holds stock in the biomedical firms Novo Nordisk and Millipore Corp., both of which use human embryos to research cures for chronic diseases, records show. Many conservatives fiercely oppose the research because it destroys the embryos in the process.

And those companies are doing well. That allows in part for his large donations to his own campaign.
Some might say his campaign was built in part on ‘tainted’ money.
Good news for Mitt! Fundamentalists are known to be logical and not prone to undue frenzy.
As a liberal commie pinko bleeding heart type person I detest anything Republican including Romney, but come on…
The mans a multi-millionaire with I’m sure tons of investments. I’d be surprised if he knew of every company he owns stock in–I would assume he has financial people that do that.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see that Edwards or Clinton or Obama own stock in companies they may politically be uncomfortable with as well.
I don’t want to stick up for Romney, but I’m sure you could find much worse revelations about him.
“The blind trust is an age-old ruse,” Romney told the Boston Globe in October of that year. “You give a blind trust rules. You can say to a blind trust, don’t invest in properties which would be in conflict of interest or where the seller might think they’re going to get an advantage from me.”
So, Romney can’t know what’s in his blind trust? What if he reads today’s newspaper?
Mitt’s a baby killer.
Definition of Whore…Romney
Is there a sole source of information on the truth-challenged, flip-flopping Romney?
This guy is amazing. And people still think he’s the shizzle. Lifelong hunter indeed…
He’s graced my (way too neglected) Dumbasses in Government blog a couple of times.
http://dumbassesingovernment.blogspot.com/
And Romney at this point has no need of a blind trust, so he can’t use that argument.
But he probably will anyway. It’s what unprincipled ‘Thugs do….
I agree with DT.
I’m hardly a millionaire, but I’d be hard pressed to tell you what stocks my funds have invested in.
At least he doesn’t own funds in companies that are about to foreclose on the homes of people in New Orleans.
