Republican Fundraising Woes Having A Ripple Effect

So not sad to see.

A well-connected Republican political firm is closing its call center partly because it was struggling to raise cash in fundraising calls for John McCain, the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Senatorial Committee and others.

FYI Messaging, founded by operatives with close ties to the Bush administration, this week laid off 60 people working in a new call center in Phoenix.

The company would not comment officially on the layoffs, but someone familiar with FYI’s operations said, “We weren’t making a profit at it, and we didn’t really see that we were going to turn the corner as soon as we’d intended. It was a function partly of our business model and partly the environment we’re in right now.”

“Brand Repub” is toxic in America.
All it took was 2 stolen elections and 6 years of absolute Repub rule for Americans to realize that the ideology that hates government cannot govern.

The Republican line is that Republicans are simply waiting until Hillary clinches the nomination and they have a single nominee to pony up.

They know better, but won’t admit it. First of all, as the EMILY’s list people know, early money is like yeast: money now pays for setup and getting the candidates some face time. Next, they know that February 5th is really too late. Whoever the Dem candidate is will be apparent-and sitting on a huge warchest already ready to blanket America with volunteers and ads.

Meanwhile, the Republican nominee will be frantically trying to play catchup fundraising madly-and with practically no ability to raise mass money fast-the Republican netroots are as productive as a neutered dog when it comes to candidate support.
