    Did you hear his last press conference? The man talks in non sequiturs. He doesn’t answer questions. He listlessly meanders from one idea to another. The only reason that I wish him a safe 19 months more is that his replacement is crazier than he is.

    Every report I’ve seen of this just repeats the same specifics-free sentence from Geyer’s column. Anybody have any clue what the context is? Where is W alleged to have done this chest thumping? Where did his friends find him doing it? Why did they have to find him? Was he hiding?

    I can totally picture him doing this, but the report is a bit fishy.

    The quote seems accurate, the chest-thumping over the top. Then again, he’s said and done a number of wacky things over the years that I’ve just been hoping were a result of too little sleep or somesuch. (The back rub on the German Chancellor comes immediately to mind.)
