Laugher Of The Century

The worst vice-president in U.S. history, Dick Cheney:

“We didn’t get elected to worry just about the fate of the Republican Party.”

That’s not fair, Oliver. Dick Cheney also cares about Halliburton.

They got elected to worry about the fate of war profiteers.

Please, there isn’t a politician in Washington who doesn’t put party before country.

Hedley’s just wrong: Jim Webb comes to mind first.

No, Hedley’s got a point. The Republican 11, after all, are putting self before party, and if they survive in the current climate, then they can go back to party before country.

Now see, here I was thinking that the specific reason that so many republicans praised human filth like Joe Lieberman was precisely because he “put the welfare of his country above the wellbeing of the defeat-o-crat-o-commmun-o-faggot party,” or somesuch. Must have been completely mistaken, I’m sure.
