Why Does Anyone Take Glenn Reynolds Seriously?

The reaction of "Instapundit" to the Democratic rebuke of hack David Broder is to whine that they want the Post to attack Republicans and Democrats.

You mean the same Washington Post that cheerleaded for the war, smeared Nancy Pelosi, put up big nothingburger front page stories attacking John Edwards? That Post? Look, I know the many tentacled conspiracy run by George Soros controls time and space itself but if you’re on the team you’d do a better job than that.

    These people I guess:

The truth is that the Bush administration has been extraordinarily scandal-free. Not a single instance of corruption has been unearthed. Only one significant member of the executive branch, Scooter Libby, has been convicted of anything. Whether the jury’s verdict was right or wrong, that case was an individual tragedy unrelated to any underlying wrongdoing by Libby or anyone else.

I don’t know, maybe because Reynolds is the blogfather, a law professor, and for all you may disagree with his views, no one makes a better effort to link to small bloggers. Few maintain civility more than Reynolds.

How often do his critics link to small bloggers? All I see on the big liberal blogs is links to other big liberal blogs.
