That’s awesome.
So I have seen this about a dozen places now, and everyone says it is fantastic, and I understand why they say that.
But is it just me? I mean, her parody is completely unwatchable/unlistenable. It is like fingers on a chalkboard.
I couldn’t finish watching it…but I suspect that part of the point is that there’s no real way to make this song sound good.
I’m waiting for the duet version with Will Farrell.
My confession: I never listen to popular radio anymore, and I’m terminally unhip, so all I’ve heard of the original was a Verizon Wireless commercial. I’d never heard the song all the way through before this. I also had to Google before I got the joke about ‘Ironic.’
Man, I’m out of it.
For a minute I thought I was at dlisted.
