As I’ve already pointed out, the linked citation says that Cheney’s power usage was less than Gore’s when Gore was VP.

It’s sad when people don’t even read their own citations.

You know, the one that had an $186,000 electric bill in 2001? Nah, that probably doesn’t bother them in the least.

Let me also relink (again) to one of many OW posts where he brings the love to right-wing religious hypocrisy.

But left-wing environmental hypocrisy should be ignored because the larger issue is teh warmening.

Maybe someone can point out where Cheney has been winning prestigious awards trying to convince us peons to reduce our carbon output?

Gore made his Nashville home much more efficient when he took it over. But your double standard is noted.

Hey, let’s be fair. Darth Cheney is in the energy business after all. At least he believes in his product. Not like that Anna Nicole with the Slim Fast and Methadone in her fridge.

Of course, that story is 6 years old, too. If electric bills of politicians is public record, how’s about we get a fresh one from someplace?

    It isn’t MY double standard.

    Hear Hear!!

Let’s make this a bipartisan issue.

Besides making tax records public, let’s get the full skinny (slimfast…get it?) on each politician’s energy usage.

I can’t be bothered with anything recently. I’ve pretty much been doing nothing to speak of. Not that it matters.

Nothing notable going on. My life’s been generally dull today. So it goes. Not much on my mind to speak of.
