From the Eat The Press review of Fox’s blog show "it’s out there".
The show’s "Left Hook, Right Hook" segment does bring on someone from each side — tonight Ari Berman of The Nation (introduced by Powers) and John Hinderacker of PowerLine and (introduced by Malkin) — but it felt like Malkin was pushing for the team more than Powers.
Kirsten Powers is part of the Fox News Fake Democrat Ringer Squad, sent there to agree with conservative talking points while looking like a bobblehead doll. That’s why they cut her a check. (Pat Cadell is part of this group too)
You can add Alan Colmes, Bob Beckel, Steve McMahon, Dick Morris (ALWAYS introduced as ‘Former Clinton adviser Dick Morris’), Ellis Henican, etc., to the list. The only liberal on FOX News who has at least some adeptness at getting her point across is Jane Fleming. But she’s in short supply, and Hannity, et al, routinely ignore her points anyway.
She is much prettier than Susan Estrich. So what if she is exploiting her looks and her past job to whore her way to the top? Lots of people do this, and I for one, think we should congratulate her ability to keep honor from getting in the way of her intended lifestyle.
I don’t watch Fox but once a month, but…. I do think Wesley Clark is brilliant for going on Fox and he does good for all Democrats when he does.
He is fearless and not afraid to tell them they are full of it. He is very informative and authoritative.
He gets the message out to Fox viewers that Democrats are smart and tough.
And to the extent he may run for office, he gets his face out to all sorts of voters that could swing in his direction.
Absolutely brilliant.
JH Christ, it’s hard to even tell that Ms. Powers is a Democrat. It’s certainly to much to call her a liberal or a progressive. Oh well, her looks and willingness to FOX trot will take her far.
Kirsten Powers performances remind me of the old days on CNN with “roundtable” discussions that included 4 foaming-at-the-mouth liberals and one “conservative”, usually someone like David Gergen.
However, between Michelle and Kirsten, Fox certainly has the babe factor covered. Nice going, Fox. Maybe there is more to their name than we give them credit for.

Which roundtables were those? You mean with people like Tucker Carlson, Bob Novak, and maybe Joe Watkins and they had to face off against actual Dems who aren’t playing possum like Powers, like Carville, Begala, Brazille? How dare those Dems have spines!
Those opposed to the appearance of Kirsten Powers on Fox as a Liberal are obviously totally unaware of the “Powers” of tits and ass, which Ms. Powers has in ample supply. Certainly any good liberal should appreciate a good babe shot.
There once was a TV show named Voyager. This show was to be a momument to butch feminism having a gravely-voiced over-the-hill starship captain as the lead actor.
When ratings began to slip early in the series, along comes Seven of Nine, a half-breed cyber babe with giant pads, guess where? That’s right - TITS and ASS pads. The volupuous cyber-babe saved the flat ass of the butch captain - and the series.
This happens over and over, So why is anyone surprised to see the same on Fox, the last bastion of (male) balls?
