Snow, Finally

Published January 21, 2007 in Maryland.

Maryland got its first snow of the winter season today. Not much, but enough to be visible and cause the weiner dog’s tracks to show up. I wish it had happened earlier, like around Christmas when it was 70 freaking degrees outside.

I feel pretty bad for that dog. It probably never goes on walks.

I’m a courier. On foot. I gotta work downtown Baltimore in that snow…and given the unreliability of the MTA buses, I’ll prolly have to walk 2/3 mile to the subway tomorrow morning…

Well, first….

DA BEARS!!!!!!

(Not like I’m from Chicago, but I’ve been a baltimoron long enough to root for (a) the Ravens or (b) whoever is playing the Colts
Second, I have ordered a Meyer lemon tree for delivery in March. Hardy to zone 7 and we are now solidly in zone 7 per the USDA. Are you worried about global warming yet?

Yea, Phoenix Arizona….Snow on Camelback mountain in scottsdale….you know, the desert?

OMG its TEH WARMENING….!

Oh, right….global warming doesn’t actually MEAN warming…sometimes its warmer, but sometimes its colder too….

Oh yea, it snowed in Malibu too…..
