   I heard Claire McCaskill interviewed late (after her declaration of victory). Olbermann asked her about the impact of the Michael J. Fox ads. McCaskill said that really that had more impact in the national news, while her race was largely about Iraq, accountability, etc.

   Then she added (paraphrasing): “But Rush Limbaugh’s response to that M. J. Fox ad — that raised me a LOT of money, and I have to thank him for that.”

   Do you think the day has come, the glorious day we’ve all been waiting for has come, when a GOPer running for office will call El Rushbo and say…

   “Listen, do me a favor….but don’t talk about me on air. Please? Just keep me out of your crazy ass diatribes, okay?”

   One can only dream.
