A Party of Nalas?

Brendan Nyhan notes that Democratic women are increasingly using the metaphor of a lioness protecting her cubs in order to project strength not commonly associated with women, especially Democratic ones. Nala, anyone?

    What happened to “it takes a village”? Didn’t that one work? Why not have Democratic women simply state what they stand for instead of a Hollywood advertising campaign?

    How about a lioness doing the hunting while the lions sit around and make noise? I believe that is sort of the way it is in the pridelands, right?
