Josh Marshall Didn’t Get The Memo

He wonders about the lack of terror alerts in 2005 vs 2004. Hello? George Bush was running for president in 2004, not ‘05. No need to scare the populace in ‘05. Silly liberals.

You say Churchillian, I say Orwellian.

The plausible denialists think we’re ‘paranoid’ when we suggest
the less than stellar motives of this White House are leading
to the demise of civl rights. The only explanation for the lack of
alerts post-Katrina, was Rove’s laser focus on saving his ass
from FitzZorro. I believe there would have been some diversions
as Bush struggled with ED during the Fall, if Rove had been at
    his post.

Expect all kinds of threats and rumors of threats to emerge as we gear up for the ‘06 elections.
