What That Guy Said

Markos Hunter lays in to the GOP bitching about actually getting something resembling a fight for a change. Dems have a long way to go to be at the same speed as the Cons, but when it does finally happen we know the response to expect: infantile crying.

    Hunter, actually, not Markos.

    This was my favorite part:

I know you hate me, and anyone else to dares disturb the thin strands of alternate reality in which George W. Bush is an intellectual giant, Saddam really was responsible for 9/11, the economy is getting better by the minute, and we capture the most very important members of al Qaeda on a weekly basis.

But here’s some advice. You’d better start hating me more. This is the world you forged and, unfortunately for you, I’m beginning to take a fancy for it.

    That was a quality rant.

“split open like a rotten pumpkin”

    Indeed.

But it’s more like one of those russian dolls whose insides each contain a smaller version of the original. Imagine pumpkins within pumpkins becoming more fetid with each new one you open.

That was an excellent post. I’ve bookmarked it for the next Koufax awards.

The part about “poor boy, falling asleep in the car for the whole trip and waking up to wonder where you are” was good, too.

    Definitely a rant to remember.
