So where's the quote Dugger's been pimping? Don't see it.

While we're at it, where's any indication that Nagin actually said any of that stuff about the levees or that he ever met with Farrakhan? We have Mr. Farrakhan's word for it. I wasn't aware he had become a trustworthy source for the right.

Finally, Dugger brought up "Gacy." Not John Wayne Gacy, I hope. Don't tell me. He was sitting next to Jimmy Carter at the Dem Convention, right?

I mean the Atlanta Democrat anti-semite as yet unrefuted by Democrats.

Yeah, I know. I've been trying to Google up the guy you're talking about but came up empty. All I got was Mr. Squeal-Like-a-Pig and a radio announcer for the Timberwolves.

So give us a link, willya?

I said:

" Bennet s stature on the right, but it suits your purpose to inflate that importance. He is out of power politically."

Quaker said:

"Dugger, your position is that Bennett is a nobody?"

You judge if that is what I said.

BTW Is Nagins a nobody? The McKinney's? Rangel?

Are the unauthorized, undirected actions of an individual attributable to the group? I guess the answer is 'yes' if his politics aren't to your liking.

Billy Mc? No, I mean the Atlanta Democrat anti-semite as yet unrefuted by Democrats.

frame,

Precisely!! You are clueless to left wing jerks, but you know all about 'evil' right wingers. That you don't know about Billy McKinney or the problem of anti-semitism on the left proves that your mind is closed. And you don't know Bennet's stature on the right, but it suits your purpose to inflate that importance. He is out of power politically. No official position. Cynthia McKinney who believes and has stated George Bush had knowledge of the 9-11 massacre and did nothing to prevent it is an active elected Democratic representative. Nagins, the source for Bush hater, Farrakkhans, villainous puffery about mass murder, is a current elected Democrat big city mayor.

And 50 years. Gacy wasn't 50 years ago. Mckinney wasn't 50 months ago. Nagins was 50 days ago. Take your pick but I might find something in the last 50 minutes.

You don't seem to understand that this thread leads with a charge against Republicans, not against Bennet's remarks (which some liberals are defending as being misconstrued by idiots on the left), but tacitly against Republicans. Do you have a principal? Mine is that the group is not responsible or accountable for the behavior of one individual. You argue seems to be this principal doesn't apply becasue you thinks Bennets are worse. Well do you or do you not hold the group accountable for the behavior of the individual?

Dugger,

I'm sorry I didn't know you were talking about Bill McKinney. Wow. Bill McKinney. Yes, what you quoted certainly is reprehensible. I condemn it. I just wish I knew WHO THE FUCK IS BILL MCKINNEY?!?!?!?!?! Which only proves my point that you're stretching, reaching here to find anyone of Bennett's stature on the left who has said anything as fucked up. Reid? Dean? God, even Nagin? Can you give me one direct quote from any of these people that rises to the level of LESS BLACKS=LESS CRIME? I mean seriously.

And come on, with the timeline shit. You seriously want to hold Reid personally responsible for condemning something some Democratc said 50 years ago? I don't think you even want to open that can of worms, my friend. The concervative record on this kind of stuff is not exactly spotless.

In short, give it up man. As Teddy said, quite hilariously, one of your bots has blown a fuse.

frame,

"If Reid got out there and said the same thing I would be taking the same response"

Whoa!!! Reid!? Democrats and Bush haters did say and do those things I mentioned. Do you conveniently get to decide which politiicans remarks count and which don't? Out-of power Bill Bennet's count, but Democrats Mayor Nagins, Representative McKinney and Billy McKinney don't. And you get to decide the time line too. If it happened in the past Democrats aren't accountable, but if happened three days ago every Rep is 100% accountable for every other Republican in the world. Isn't that very nice!!

And I'm confused about who is accountable on your side. You said "supposed liberal'. What about Democrats, 'non-supposed' liberals, progressives like Andrew McCrae? What if we decide Bennet is a 'supposed conservative'? Thread over? Pack up and go home?

"The comments followed 11Alive News asking Billy McKinney about his daughter using an old endorsement from former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young.
"That ain't nothing. That's nothing," he said. "Jews have bought everybody. Jews... J-E-W-S."

Isn't it about as bad to suggest that white people secretly conspired to mass murder black people in New Orleans and other places. Is that not reprehensible enough to warrant an explanation or disavowal from mainstream Democrats?

“If Reid got out there and said the same thing I would be taking the same response”

Whoa!!! Reid!? Democrats and Bush haters did say and do those things I mentioned. Do you conveniently get to decide which politiicans remarks count and which don’t? Out-of power Bill Bennet’s count, but Democrats Mayor Nagins, Representative McKinney and Billy McKinney don’t. And you get to decide the time line too.
All this con handwringing about how unfair it is to characterize Bennett's remarks as racist-

--And the President himself runs away from the remarks, calling them inappropriate through his Press Secretary.

Lo-ving-it.
