   Ohh Lord that is classic!! Holy cow …. Im starting the weekend right now… i am so glad i stayed up this late… now i can rest in peace.

   Thanks Oliver, that was absolutely hilarious. Just imagine if you were in that church, would you be openly laughing at this woman or embarrased for her? Such a fool would be more at home in a circus than in a church, I imagine.

   These people really frighten me…. How is it that reality hasn’t just stamped this foolishness out of civilization yet?

   I had to watch this again this morning…its just too much.

   Any speculation as to what happened at the end? Did her momentum drive her into the dirt?…. Crash and Burn?….

   Heh, questions like that have always fascinated me.

   Once I was having a discussion with a German dude about the relative merits of the American and European work ethics. He pointed to the craftsmen who built the cathedrals, working on one tiny piece of it, but knowing full well that they’d never live to see the project completed. He contrasted that with the shortsightedness of today’s American worker. If they had been working on the cathedrals, he said, they’d storm off the first week, saying, “Fuck this gargoyle! I’m never going to be around to see it in use anyway.”

   I couldn’t help but wonder, during the entire history of the English language, had anyone ever uttered the construct “Fuck this gargoyle” previously?
