The reality begins to leak out, this time from a GOP club in California.

The latest newsletter by an Inland Republican women’s group depicts Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama surrounded by a watermelon, ribs and a bucket of fried chicken, prompting outrage in political circles.

The October newsletter by the Chaffey Community Republican Women, Federated says if Obama is elected his image will appear on food stamps — instead of dollar bills like other presidents. The statement is followed by an illustration of “Obama Bucks” — a phony $10 bill featuring Obama’s face on a donkey’s body, labeled “United States Food Stamps.”

I can’t figure out why minorities don’t vote for Republicans. No idea.

Of course, we know the problem is that Adam LaDuca got caught in public. Behind closed doors this is what they say.

The leader of a statewide group of college Republicans has been forced to resign after posting racially insensitive comments about Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama on the Internet.

Adam LaDuca, 21, the former executive director of the Pennsylvania Federation of College Republicans, wrote on his Facebook page in late July that Obama has ‘a pair of lips so large he could float half of Cuba to the shores of Miami (and probably would.)’

This has now gone past ridiculous to surreal. Lynn Westmoreland is now saying he didn’t know “uppity” was a racial slur. He apparently has been living under a rock for… all of history.

Expect to see more of this. Lots more. The Republican party, faced with a minority candidate with an unusual name, will be even less able than usual to reign in their natural racist and culturually retarded impulses. If there is a crack about ethnicity, religion, or any derivation from the standard issue GOP robot to be made – they will make it. I hope the McCain campaign is buying Tums for their candidate, in bulk.

An Iowa Republican congressman said Friday that terrorists would be “dancing in the streets” if Democratic candidate Barack Obama were to win the presidency.

Rep. Steve King based his prediction on Obama’s pledge to pull troops out of Iraq, his Kenyan heritage and his middle name, Hussein.

“The radical Islamists, the al-Qaida … would be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on Sept. 11 because they would declare victory in this war on terror,” King said in an interview with the Daily Reporter in Spencer.

The irony is that nobody has done more to help and validate Al Qaeda than George W. Bush, and his anointed follower, John McCain is just more of the same.
