This is the guy Fox News and Sean Hannity used to go after Sen. Obama. And this is the guy who has pushed the phony Obama is a Muslim story. This guy.

The Chicago man credited with launching the Barack Obama-is-a-Muslim smear campaign once pledged to ‘exterminate Jew Power in America,’ and claimed that ‘Jew babies are fed with subsidized American taxpayer money,’ and that Jews were ’schooled in blood sucking and money grubbing from birth.’ Those anti-Semitic statements (and many, many others) were contained in a 1986 fundraising letter circulated by Andy Martin, then a Connecticut congressional candidate.

It’s clear that Fox is no longer the big bad wolf it was in 2004, but I wonder if their convention coverage will be the same load of nonsense it was in 2004, with Bill O’Reilly wondering if Ted Kennedy would show up to speak as Kennedy spoke right behind him. And will Fox News try to talk over the Dems like they did in ‘04?

Probably. So far in their coverage you would think that the entire affair consists of protesters and disgruntled Clinton supporters. I saw a panel with Bill Kristol and Charles Krauthammer with Brit Hume moderating. They all decided that Joe Biden was a bad pick. Shocker. Fair and balanced marches on, but not in a vacuum.

Fox News refers to Michelle Obama as Senator Obama’s “Baby Mama”.

So here’s the thing (because during this campaign I’m apparently learning that we black people have our own secret code and hand signals so this stuff has to be explained like you are speaking to a child at times), using the phrase “baby mama” to describe this woman implies that like too many people in the black community, she is a mother on her own with no man around doing his job.

Except, Barack and Michelle Obama are the exact opposite of this, and that is one of the reason America – especially black America – are so proud of them.

But Fox News is the network that tears down those who do not toe the line, and if that means they should resort to jive to describe a black woman as a “baby mama” despite the strength of her family and her own personal success, so be it.

Screw you guys.
