About Sarah Palin Sarah Louise Palin (née Heath; born February 11, 1964) is the Governor of the American state of Alaska. Palin was a member of the Wasilla, Alaska, city council from 1992 to 1996 and the city's mayor from 1996 to 2002. After an unsuccessful campaign for Lieutenant Governor of Alaska in 2002, she chaired the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission from 2003 to 2004. She was elected Governor of Alaska in November 2006. Palin is the first female governor of Alaska and the youngest person elected governor of that state.
Palin was the Republican Party's vice-presidential nominee for the 2008 United States presidential election, on the ticket with Senator John McCain. Palin was the second female candidate and the first Alaskan candidate of either major party on a national ticket, as well as the first female vice-presidential nominee of the Republican Party. Since the McCain-Palin defeat in the 2008 election, there has been speculation that she will run for president in the 2012 presidential election.
“Palin is just crushing other GOPers in popularity among Republicans, with 73%, leading runner-up Mitt Romney by 16 points. And that’s in spite of all Romney’s recent Mittmentum. Palin is beating Newt Gingrich by even more, 18 points, even though Gingrich has emerged as a kind of intellectual forefather of the modern GOP. And she’s slaughtering poor Michael Steele by 45 points” Link
“Mr. Letterman opened the desk portion of his show with the apology in which he said he wanted to say he was sorry to ‘to the two daughters involved, Bristol and Willow, and also to the governor and her family and everybody else who was outraged by the joke.’ Two weeks ago on his ‘Late Show’ program on CBS, he had joked about Governor Palin attending a Yankee game with her daughter.” Link
“Matt Lauer interviews Palin live tomorrow morning on Today. Palin will be live from Texas, where she made an announcement today regarding the Alaska pipeline project.” Link
David Letterman took time on his show last night to respond to the conservative criticism over jokes he made about Sarah Palin. Letterman also invited Palin on his show.
“”Basically, it’s just rude,” says one political operative who is a Palin fan. “They’ve been running the great snub machine. That’s the reason the boys in the Republican Party are unhappy with her.”" Link
“Six months after its release, the movie is one of Hustler Video’s all-time bestsellers — something unprecedented in company history. Hustler says it can’t keep up with orders for the DVD and is already planning a sequel — with Lisa Ann reprising her starring role. Hollywood’s Nailin’ Paylin, shooting this spring for a late-summer release, will parody Palin’s imagined new career as book author and talk-show host and, of course, put her in bed with a bunch of spoofed celebrities.” Link
“Hustler has released a follow-up to “Who’s Nailin’ Paylin” called “Obama is Nailin’ Palin.” Directed by Jerome Tanner, “Obama is Nailin’ Palin” features Guy DiSilva as Obama, who rescues Palin from her failed campaign. Palin shows her gratitude. The movie features six hardcore interracial scenes with performers Lisa Ann, Jenna Haze, Olivia O’Lovely, Tiffany Minxx, Charlotte Stokely and Riley Mason. “
