Right Wing Radio Nut Melanie Morgan Fired

You’ll remember Morgan for her attacks on a veteran, compared Media Matters to the Virginia Tech killer, called for the murder of the NY Times editor, and much more.

Like zombies these people never truly go away, and I’m sure she’ll have a job on Fox News sometime soon or something.

I’m sure she’ll find a way to keep some wingnut welfare job somewhere, but she’s never going to be A-list crazy now. She’s going to be stuck as the Kathy Griffin of the Coulterverse, doing book signings in the backs of Christian bookstores in rural Utah and Kansas instead of in a Borders in NYC and San Fransisco where the hate tastes sweeter because of the assumed mass liberal outrage of the town’s elites.

Soon, other wingnuts of note will not be so quick to invite her to the Heritage Foundation luncheons and PNAC reunion dinners. People won’t return her calls. Hannity will act like he doesn’t see her at the Republican National Committee. You know you have hit ’sad’ when Townhall.com or the Washington Times is about the height of your ceiling and you might not be able to keep that considering all the other trolls are shambling away from the taint of your failure.

If she were a guy, she’d pull a Tucker and be a career cockroach.

But she’s a 51 year old woman in a sexist rightwing echochamber where Neil Cavuto can look like a shambling mass of sourdough and work but the female Fox Newsers all look as much like Jenna Jameson as creepy Bill O’Reily’s heart can stand.

Cue the younger, “prettier” screeching bottled aryan blonde-headed harpy untainted by failure who enters from stage right… and… “The liberal media is covering up THE FACT that the Hippies actually invented fascism in 1968 and Benito Mussolini was one of JFK’s idols and…” and the beat goes on.

Actually, scratch that.

My money is on the great rightwing echochamber elevating as many attractive African-American and latino GOPers, like Amy Holmes (she does a lot of CNN panels these days) from smiling repeaters of talking points in the minor leagues to full blown potential wingnut pundit-to-be status in the bigs.

Barack Obama poses a particularly thorny issue for the right: they are going to want to mug him with attacks that have racial overtones, its part of the package of what they do (’Fancy Ford’ comes to mind in the Tennessee Senate race), but they are afraid of being labeled racists. Especially when facing a candidate of color who is a phenomena that they don’t understand, but fear. So, it makes sense that the old white billionaires club is going to want to have as many prominent persons of color releasing their poison in an attempt to immunize the GOP and the institutional rightwing from any charges of racism. Melanie Morgan going down in flames opens up another slot for a new wingnut to be sold to the public. It just makes sense for the rightwing to look at Barack Obama and say: ‘get me somebody who looks like him and his wife to attack him with our ’some people say he’s a closet muslim’ and ’some people say that he dated a girl that admired Angela Davis in college and he came to admire her too!’ crap. Then they can have their useful cable news idiots on call when the obvious counter-charges are made.

Howard Kurtz will be right there on cue: “But… but… this young woman raising the issue of the “is he or isn’t he in Al Qaida?” controversy (not saying she believes it, but thinks the “controversy” needs to be discussed. Constantly.) is, in fact, a black person herself. How can this then be a racist attack or an attack designed to make suburban white people squirm? A black woman is making the charges and, I’m sorry, but doesn’t that end the discussion of race and these charges right there?”

Why is it that anytime a person takes a stand in favor of America - whether it be border or National security, or just trying to keep our American culture and lifestyle sacred and special to us in this insane world, we are labeled as “hate mongers”, “racists” or worse by the media and the socialist fools?

It’s easy to accuse, which is why the founding Fathers decided that ‘a man is INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty’. Where’s the proof ? (without putting a lefty spin on things).

Melanie Morgan is right on target with the majority of the American Public and more of us are joining the ranks daily! We’ve had just about all the “liberalism’ that we can stomach over the past 40+ years!
