Annoy Tim Russert and his racist smears.
Annoy Fox News and their attacks.
Annoy John McCain and his four more years of Bush.

I seriously don't get the "four more years of Bush" bit. Is there another Republican out there not named Lincoln Chaffee who is LESS similar to Bush than John McCain?

I have to agree with Farris, here. McCain's not likely to continue Bush's ineptitude, more likely he'll bring his own brand of temperamental and dishonest ineptitude instead.
Connecting him to Bush gets you a few tenuous strands that you can manipulate. The key is to disconnect John McCain from the Maverick Myth of John McCain and instead connect him to the Harsh Reality of John McCain.

Farris, you raise a good point.
The Republican party has purged everybody with a novel or independent idea so that there is zero degrees of separation among the whole lot of them. Find out what happens if you don't support a balanced budget, a failed war, a strict adherence to pro-life or crony capitalism. Essentially, one of the well-funded "interest" groups will meet you with a primary challenger. As a result, there is very little difference between McCain and Bush even if they are the diametric opposites within the party.

Ron Paul, perhaps?
Other than bush, few are more pro-war than McCain.

Yes. There are Republican who actually think the war in Iraq was a bad idea.
I know most Republicans who side with the general public over Bush have been purged from the party, but there are still some that are not just like Bush.
