Barack Obama & "The Secret Muslim" Smear

I don't think this will be as damaging to Obama as his race (specifically the reaction of throwback knuckle draggers to a successful black man who could be the most powerful man in the world) will be in the long run, but the Obama is a Muslim attack, no matter how wrong it is, will be kept around for a while and for Bob Kerrey to be the latest vessel for it is just dirty pool. I don't know if folks like Kerrey and previously Shaheen think this stuff helps their candidate - but it doesn't. Even somewhere like Iowa that lacks diversity, the Democratic base knows ugly when they see it. Stop it.
