Glenn Beck: "[A] handful of people who hate America ... are losing their homes in a forest fire today"

How does he still have a job on CNN. It's not like his ratings are good enough to overcome the stupid shit he says.

Funny, when you remove the ellipses and show the whole quote, it still sounds despicable.

You know, I'll bet there were a handful of people who "hated America" who lost their lives in the towers on 9/11. I'll bet there were a handful of people who "hated America" who lost their homes during Katrina.

If you're as craven and unfeeling as Glenn Beck, though, apparently your relative level of nationalism is justification for losing your home, your job, or your life.

Please, Farris, defend this man further.

You can only cry, "Out of context!" if the context changes the meaning of the quote.

It doesn't here, so fuck off.

Here's the full sentence, Farris:

I think there is a handful of people who hate America. Unfortunately for them, a lot of them are losing their homes in a forest fire today.

If you want the sentences before and after this one for "context", the link has it.

America haters like Duncan Hunter, Darryl Issa and Brian Billbray? They represent those areas. Last I checked, San Diego County and Orange County are two of the most conservative in California.

He's an idiot.
