Apparently Media Matters started in 2003 as some sort of galactic conspiracy to win the election for Hillary Clinton in 2008. Wait till I tell my Zurg battalion leader about this one! Just nobody tell them about the Time Lord-Klingon Alliance of 2012 in San Francisco.

(Seriously, though, somebody tell Glenn Reynolds that it's not "blowback" to have Newsbusters write about Media Matters. They do it all the time. My sense is that the root cause is something else entirely.)
