You pick the Colts to beat the Pats, but have the Pats in the Superbowl? I am confused.

I gotta go with the Pats and the Saints. We are disagreeing a lot lately, OW.

Sentimentally, I like Manning and would like to see him escape from the hell of can't-win-the-big-one-land. But it's tough to beat The Genius in the playoffs.

Just corrected myself. The choice of the Bears is 1/2 me thinking they can pull it out, and half me wanting the NFC to win the Superbowl. And I'm against the Patriots because I'm sick of them.

I think your own accursed fingers know the truth of it.

Superbowl - 'Aints vs. Pats. Pats by 10.

I posted a detailed analysis of how the Pats and Saints will triumph on Sunday

Well, how many times have they shown us that the Pats in the post-season are a different team than they were in the regular season. Indy is very good, but the Patriots will hang around, and hang around, and then pounce on one or two Indy mistakes in the third and fourth quarters. It's what they do. They will do it with the Saints too.

I wanna Zupa Bowl widda sub-plot entitled "Awchie's Dilemma!"

Who dat sez d'Zaints ain't got but way too many boss boo-dan weapons to throw at DUH-bears. N'awlinz by 10, cher, I gar-on-tee!!

Now on da soy-fis ya gotta like dem new englanders in da AFC, since dey are way too steady an' Belichick is evrythin' Parcells wishes he could be. But all us Who Dats want Awchie's boy Peyton to take on d'Zaints. Da Colts by 3, I dink.

Much as we love Awchie, Olivia, Peyton, Eli an' Coopa', we dink it'll be fun to fuck wid dere heads dis one time, since nunna dem is wearin' Black n' Gold on da field dese days.

In da Zupa Bowl da final will eater be Zaints-20, Colts-17, or Zaints-40, Colts-34 (fuck you Atlanta ha ha!)

Aftawids we'd all be dancin' on da tables at Pat O's, raising' a toast to John Gilliam, Tom Dempsey, and of cos to Awchie hisself.

Laissez le bon temps roulet!!

Oliver,

The NFC contest is the JV game; either the Colts or Pats will be a double-digit favorite regardless of who comes out of the other bracket. Hell, the Ravens or Chargers would easily handle either the Bears or Saints.

I think you're right about the AFC - but I hope you're wrong.

Manning has clearly learned from past failures. He's able to trust his running game, and we don't see him checking out of it like he used to do. In fact, he seems to check into running plays, something unthinkable.

The book on Manning seems to have been what San Diego and my Steelers showed. Bring the defense up to the line, and when Manning finishes going through his gyrations, then you drop into your real coverage.

It's been different this year. He's staying with plays instead of trying to outguess the defense on the fly. And I think it will pay off for him.

And they've decided to play some D!

Let's remember too, that Vinitery (?) was the Pats salvation a lot. He was the big gun, not Brady.

Colts in a squeaker.
