Thanks Again
Tweet
I want to thank everyone who’s contacted me, either here, Facebook, or on Twitter or via e-mail (or via their blogs like TBogg and John) about C.K.’s passing.
It doesn’t make it easier — and no lie it hurts like hell for my home to suddenly be so silent after a decade of little legs pitter-pattering everywhere — but it warms my heart. And I know in puppy heaven where he’s knocking out a giant ham, C.K. hears you too. Thank you, everyone.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. C.K. was a good looking dog and obviously a great friend.
My wife and I lost one of our dogs (the first one we adopted 7 years ago) in November and it was very hard to get through so I know how you must feel at this time.
However, you will always have the memories of the time you spent with C.K. which over time eases the loss of a great friend.
So sorry, Oliver.
I am so sorry for your loss.
My 17-year-old cat, who was the light of my life as well as my son’s [they grew up together], died a few months ago from pancreatic cancer.
I think it’s difficult for people who haven’t had close, long-standing relationships with an animal to truly understand the sense of loss that a human feels when this happens.
Hang in there, Oliver.
Take your time, greive, and when you’re ready, check out Dachshund Rescue.
Sorry Oliver. This line always pops into my head when things are going shitty for me, as they have been lately. It’s from Hannah and Her Sisters – “The heart is a resilient little muscle.”
Take care.
What an adorable face.
I’m very sorry.
