Olivia Wilde As Lois Lane In New Superman Movie?

Olivia Wilde

I don’t really see it, and her name is just one of many circulating around the rumor mill after Superman was cast.

Oddly, I think she may be too pretty for the role. Unlike some other “it” girls, Wilde can actually act some, but Lois Lane is pretty but not drop dead gorgeous (this is also why Jessica Biel is wrong for the role).

I’d like to see someone credible in the role, that’s for sure. Kate Bosworth was easily the weakest performer in Superman Returns, and it was a heck of a stretch to see her as a Pulitzer winner.

If the role somehow goes to Krsten Stewart, I’ll stab my eyes out.

    Only ever seen her in House, where, to put it bluntly, she was not good. But who knows, people thought Downey Jr. would make a bad Iron Man.

    Female leads in action flicks aimed at young males have to be drop-dead gorgeous. “Acting” ability is secondary to sex appeal.
