Sikh Attacked, Called “Al Qaeda”

Thanks Fox, thanks GOP, thanks Harry Reid.

A 35-year-old Seattle man is facing assault and hate crime charges following allegations that he accosted a clerk at a Queen Anne convenience store.

According to police, Brock Stainbrook derided the man as being a terrorist during the Tuesday morning incident.

Writing the court, a Seattle detective said Stainbrook entered the 7-11 store in at 362 Denny Way. The clerk was standing near a coffee machine when Stainbrook accosted him.

‘For unknown reasons a person threw change on the floor near the victim’s feet then punched the victim on the left side of the head,’ the detective said.

‘After the suspect struck (the clerk) with his fist he said, ‘You’re not even American, you’re Al-Qaeda. Go back to your country.”

    Gotta say, Americans aren’t really sharp with their Indian religions. I was born and raised in Canada, near Toronto, where we have many Indian immigrants (some of my best friends in grade school and my former college roommates were Muslim, Hindu and Sikh). I think we need to hold an information session to explain the different religions to the extreme right because not only am I disgusted by this violent idiot racist, I’m also a little embarrassed for him.

    Sorry, but this is what happens when a city refuses to control its “transient population”.

    That part of town is where all the bums go during the summer because it contains the Seattle Center, Space Needle, Experience Music Project, The Science Fiction Museum and attracts a large portion of the tourists that come to Seattle. The only other place you’ll find a population of hobos even close to this is the Seattle Waterfront District, and that is just because the latter is within walking distance of Pioneer Square.

    Anyone here want to bet that this guy is among the every growing population of “outdoorsmen” the city attracts?

    The likelihood that this guy even has a TV to watch FOX on is minuscule, and the only AM radio he probably gets to hear is when he wanders up to cars to beg for change at the stop light.
