Race-baiting is ugly business, no matter what the color of the perpetrator. And in this case it was Willie Herenton who was soundly beaten by Rep. Steve Cohen. Cohen’s race simply doesn’t matter if he’s doing what he was elected to: represent his district. The voters made that clear.
