ESPN: Brett Favre Retiring, Again
Tweet

I’ll believe it when I see it. And maybe not even then.
Brett Favre has informed his Vikings teammates that he will not return for another season in Minnesota, the Star-Tribune reported Tuesday.
Sources also confirmed to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Favre planned to retire.
Neither Favre nor the vikings have confirmed the news but a press release is expected Tuesday, the sources said.

BF “retires” when he wants to play for a different team
In other news, boy cries, “Wolf!”
That sucker’s been “retired” more times than granny’s ’63 Dodge.
He’s not going to make a ‘DECISION,’ is he?
As a Wisconsin resident and Packers fan, I’m about ready to apologize to the rest of the country for Brett Favre.
Way to make a mockery of your own legacy, Brett.
WTF are you babbling about mrak? He’s retiring because he physically can’t play thanks to the surgery that’s not healing right. If he were capable he’d probably play until he was 50 and kick Green Bay arse all the way.
Vince, I was referring to the “he’s retiring”/”he’s not retiring”/”he’s retiring”/”he’s coming out of retirement” loop he appears to have been stuck in for awhile. Much like the commenters above me were.
If he’s really retiring this time, good on him. It’s time. He should be more than content that he had a good long career, and he should let himself be remembered as a truly great QB.
