More good news for John McCain.

Opposition to the landmark health care overhaul declined over the past month, to 35 percent from 41 percent, according to the latest results of a tracking poll, reported Thursday.

Fifty percent of the public held a favorable view of the law, up slightly from 48 percent a month ago, while 14 percent expressed no opinion about the measure, according to the poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation.

In due time, the GOP’s “repeal it” mantra will become this decade’s version of “we’ve never been stay the course.”

OK, this one’s over my head. Why is this good news for McCain? Didn’t he vote against the health care bill, along with every other Republican?

Bitter – “This is good news for John McCain” is a running joke of OW’s, left over from the 2008 campaign when every stride forward by Obama was viewed by the media as “good news for McCain.” It’s used ironically.
