  1. Dennis says:

What, you want to make fun of him for being a little pissed that some idiot white guy journalist suggests that a whole group of journalists just pick him out for no apparent reason and call him a racist, just so they can put the whole Republican Party on the defensive?

Suuuu-re, Oliver. “Hey, no biggie. It’s all good.”

  2. MrBenchley says:

No, Dennis. We want to make fun of him because he’s the white Armstrong Williams.

By the way, there are plenty of good reasons to call Fred the Whore a racist….because he is one.

  3. Repack Rider says:

you want to make fun of him for being a little pissed that some idiot white guy journalist suggests that a whole group of journalists just pick him out for no apparent reason and call him a racist, just so they can put the whole Republican Party on the defensive?

You should click the link. We’re pointing out that someone who takes a lot of money from one political party and none from the other is not an objective journalist, and that he is lying when he says he is.

How is it possible for anyone not to understand that?

    If you know.

  4. Dennis says:

Repack, you and Zython are about on par as far as moronic, non-sensical and illogical rebuttals on here. It’s hard to argue you when your points make little sense.

Oliver said: “But he was vewwwy vewwwy angry when he was besmirched on Journolist.”

And my comment was that it’s kind of silly for a guy not to be angry when he finds out a bunch of left-wing loons conspired and considered calling him a racist like it’s no big deal, because they think it would be a cute thing to do and a shrewd political move to help Barack Obama get elected president.

  5. fafaroo says:

What was once one guy suggesting something:

…some idiot white guy journalist suggests that a whole group of journalists just pick him out for no apparent reason and call him a racist …

is now a group that actually “conspired” and “considered” to call him a racist:

…a bunch of left-wing loons conspired and considered calling him a racist like it’s no big deal…

You had it right the first time Dennis but you just couldn’t resist adding a bunch of bullshit to your claim. In the very same thread.

    Idiot.

  6. Repack Rider says:

    Dennis,

Do you think a “journalist” who accepts free travel and takes a lot of money from one political party and not from the other is objective?

    Yes or no will do.

  7. jr says:

“Journolist got the Beltway Boys cancelled”-Fred Barnes

  8. Dennis says:

No. Barnes didn’t criticize the Journo-listers for not being objective though, so again, Repack, what is your freaking point? He criticized them for what they did, which was working together and colluding on what to write and strategize. They knew it sucked to have to do it that way, they said, but losing sucked worse. You, of course, are perfectly fine with that.

  9. Dennis says:

is now a group that actually “conspired” and “considered” to call him a racist: - – farafoo

Did you read the article that Barnes wrote, fafaroo? No, you say? Well then, here, let me quote you a passage:

No one on JournoList endorsed the Ackerman plan. But rather than object on ethical grounds, they voiced concern that the strategy would fail or possibly backfire.

So yes, they did conspire, and they did consider it, but they relented. Not on ethical grounds, but on concern that the strategy would fail or backfire. This hasn’t stopped you guys from doing it as often as it strikes your fancy even though the strategy has indeed failed, but there is no question that people did employ that stategy often then when Ackerman said that.

But you know what, reading that article again, I honestly see nothing in there that shows Barnes expressing any anger whatsoever. So again, another blog post here that is not just misleading, it’s wrong. Barnes said he actually laughed about it.

The first call I got after the Daily Caller unearthed the emails involving me was from Karl Rove. He said he wanted to talk to his “fellow racist.” We laughed about this. But the whole episode was also sad. I didn’t sputter at the thought of being called a racist. But it was sad to see what journalism, or at least a segment of it, had come to.

  10. fafaroo says:

Oh I see. So a group of journalists rejecting one person’s idea of randomly calling conservatives racist is evidence of how this group “conspired” and “considered” to actually call people racists.

The logic is awesome: A group of people rejected the idea which means they must have engaged in a process to arrive at the decision to reject the idea which means that they must have “considered” the issue both ways, so it’s okay to say that they “considered” calling Barnes a racist. Of course, since this was a group of people considering together amongst themselves we can also say they “conspired” to call him a racist because they “considered” it.

You are so fucking stupid it’s a wonder you know how to type.

  11. Repack Rider says:

    Dennis: No.

So you agree that Barnes is not objective and conceals his bias. That’s a start. Why does he deserve a job at a leading newspaper?

Nothing in the linked article referred to Journolist, so I don’t understand why you are harping on that.

  12. Dennis says:

fafaroo, again, you dishonestly left out key information. This time a creatively different variation of your same recurring theme of “So, what you are saying…. (twist, spin, distort, fabricate), to now saying “Oh I see, So….(twist, spin, distort, fabricate, omit). You are just fucking unbelievable. (And to think you as the head lemming has a following of lemmings who wait around to see how you choose to counter me.)

They all conspired, there is no question of that. And they considered Ackerman’s disgusting but typical left win proposal strategy, but they relented not on ethical grounds, but because they thought it might backfire.

You guys don’t care that it’s backfiring.

Why is this so hard for you to understand?

Oh and btw, where were you on the day this was written here, fafaroo?

Bushies Considered Bombing In Georgia In 2008

    Off sick? Vacay? Meetings?

And as you displayed on the other thread, not saying anything before when you speak out now is de facto proof of hypocrisy, or something.

  13. fafaroo says:

Dennis, you’re leaving out the key information it seems, such as your definition of “conspired” and “considered.”

I don’t think you’re doing it dishonestly, though: You’re just very, very dumb.

  14. Dennis says:

Nothing in the linked article referred to Journolist, so I don’t understand why you are harping on that.

RR, I know Joe Conason is probably one of your Clinton/Lewinsky heros, but your question is kind of ridiculous, seeing as how Oliver used the word ‘Journolist” in order to link to Conason’s article. I responded to Oliver’s statement incorrectly chiding him for being angry at the Journo-list d-bags, because that is what he said….“But he was vewwwy vewwwy angry when he was besmirched on Journolist.

    Yeesh.

    RePack ‘Zython’ Rider.

    RZR.

  15. Dennis says:

fafaroo, did the Journo-lister d-bags conspire? Yes.

Did the Journo-lister d-bags consider calling Rove and Barnes and people on the right like them ‘racists’. Yes again.

    Case closed.

    Good night and good luck.

  16. Dennis says:

So you agree that Barnes is not objective and conceals his bias.

I didn’t agree that he conceals his bias. Why do you imitate fafaroo’s dishonest way of arguing a point? Where above did I say or agree to the idea of Barnes concealing his bias, Repack?

Seriously, what is wrong with you? Because fafaroo does that does it just automatically lower your standards for honest debate here?

And you even start your dishonest statement with the fafaroovian spinner “So…..”

    Un-believable.

    .

  17. The Dark Avenger says:

But it was sad to see what journalism, or at least a segment of it, had come to.

Says a paid hack(in the literal sense) of the Republican party.

Dennis, could you Google the word ‘hypocrisy’ and get back to us?

    That’s a good boy.

  18. fafaroo says:

    OMG:

And as you displayed on the other thread, not saying anything before when you speak out now is de facto proof of hypocrisy, or something.

Did you really just search this site for any previous use of the word “considered” or have you had this post squirreled away in your brain for all the last six months?

I’m going to be you still think you have grounds to call other people here obsessed.

I suppose you didn’t stop to think that in objecting to Oliver’s use of the word “considered” in that context, you’ve also just undermined your own use of the word.

I’m going to bet you didn’t mean to do that, did you?

Like I said: Very, very stupid.

  19. Dennis says:

DA, you’re sorta stalking now. There are a lot of threads on this page. Branch out and explore new horizons, new challenges.

  20. Dennis says:

When fafaroo says go, go, go, he means stay, stay, stay.

  21. The Dark Avenger says:

    DA, you’re sorta stalking now.

Again, Denise the Dense, where did you get your degree in psychology, and how many cereal box tops did you have to send in to obtain it?

You’re the one stalking Oliver whenever he details Republican hypocrisy or stupidity in a post, take your own advice or start a blog wherein you can engage in Obama-bashing on your own dime, not Olivers.

  22. Oliver says:

It’s hard to argue you when your points make little sense.
This would describe every Dennis comment.

  23. isms says:

“When fafaroo says go, go, go, he means stay, stay, stay.”

Darling you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

So you got to let me know

  24. Fafaroo says:

When fafaroo says go, go, go, he means stay, stay, stay.

No, Dennis. I mean go. You’re very stupid and offer nothing to threads except proof of same. If you left and never came back, no one would care.

  25. Jaim says:

Wow. There really is someone who likes Fred Barnes.

  26. Zython says:

  28. Dennis says:

Wow. There really is someone who likes Fred Barnes.

More than Spencer ‘Pick any one of them and call them racist’ Ackerman, yes.

  29. Dennis says:

No, Dennis. I mean go. You’re very stupid and offer nothing to threads except proof of same. If you left and never came back, no one would care.

Your actions belie your words, fafaroo. And do you ever notice that the guy who owns the blog, the guy you presume to be speaking for and whose blog you presume to be some sort of co-owner of, never seems to back you up on that?

  30. Dennis says:

That or Dennis thinks that liberals talking to other liberals is the biggest scandal of the 21st century.–Zython

This from a guy who thinks it’s no big deal to fraudulently impersonate another person and start yelling racist epithets.

Sorry, if it was no big deal for liberal journalists to collude to create a common narrative in their publications’ stories, there’d be no reason for the daily defense of it you see here.

One thing I’d give them credit for if their deep-sixing the calling Barnes and Rove racists strategy is any indication, they’d have denounced what you did, too.

Just not on ethical grounds, though, apparently.

  31. Jaim says:

Remember the time Spencer Ackerman presented an edited video as complete footage of a black woman renouncing racism as a video where she was supposedly endorsing racism? And FOX news breathlessly jumped on the story, when in fact it was nothing but a bald, racist lie?

You’ll defend anyone as long as they’re a Teabbagger/Republican, won’t you Dennis the Cowardly Bitch?

  32. Dennis says:

And FOX news breathlessly jumped on the story, when in fact it was nothing but a bald, racist lie?

No, but I remember a situation like that where Fox jumped on the story after a woman was fired by Tom Vilsack and the White House and roundly denounced by the NAACP leader who was in the audience of a particular speech for which there was editted video tape of, though. Could we be talking about the same story and perhaps you have your facts wrong, possibly?

And Jaim, of course you’ll defend Spencer Ackerman. You probably think he’s a pussy and all the d-bag Journo-listers who thought his strategy would backfire are too for not going through with it to the degree you’d like them too. That’s EXACTLY what you do on here. Since C.S. Strowbridge left here in shame, you’re the worst offender and the biggest proponent of the ‘white guilt-ridden, white liberal guy calling another white conservative guy a racist’ stategy on these boards. It’s really nothing more than your go-to defense when you have nothing else, which is pretty much every single argument you make.

  33. Jaim says:

Vilsack and the White House screwed up royally, no doubt.

And your boyfriend is still a racist bigot and a liar, like yourself.

“And Jaim, of course you’ll defend Spencer Ackerman.”

Actually, I’m not really familiar with his work. But I know for a fact he hasn’t taken in over $100,000 from the DLC or the White House, unlike your other boyfriend Fred Barnes.

“you’re the worst offender and the biggest proponent of the ‘white guilt-ridden, white liberal guy calling another white conservative guy a racist’ stategy on these boards”

Oh noes! Dennis the Cowardly Bitch’s fee-fee’s are hurting!

I just call it like it is. Breitbart is a racist liar, and people who defend Breitbart are racist liars. Simple.

  34. Dennis says:

Jaim, do you agree with or denounce Spencer Ackerman’s ‘pick any one of them and call them racist’ stategy?

Or do you think it was ethical do propose it, even in general, forgetting that it was meant to be something where they would work together in their public writing to accomplish?

You don’t have the nads to answer this because if you do, you’d either be contradicting yourself and everything you’ve stood for here, or you’d be admitting that what you’ve been doing here the last two-plus years was wrong.

  35. Jaim says:

More on Dennis’ new boyfriend (the first one, the racist bigot, not the second one, the GOP shill who takes money directly from the GOP in the course of his “reporting”):

    http://digbysblog.blogspot.com/2010/07/what-andrew-breitbart-can-teach.html

  36. Jaim says:

“Jaim, do you agree with or denounce Spencer Ackerman’s ‘pick any one of them and call them racist’ stategy?”

I honestly don’t care. If he wants to say those things in private e-mails, fine. The GOP has a long history of being racist (Jesse Helms, for starters) and the Teabagger movement is loaded with bigots who carry signs with the n-word and claim Obama is a secret dirty African, not a real American.

“You don’t have the nads to answer this”

Your interest in my genitals is not welcome. Go back to your E-trade account, Dennis the Cowardly Bitch.

  37. Dennis says:

I just call it like it is. Breitbart is a racist liar, and people who defend Breitbart are racist liars. Simple.

That’s an incorrect, bigoted, and unintelligent statement that any idiot simpleton would make, Jaim. It’s exactly the kind of statement that idiot, bigoted simpletons make.

. But I know for a fact he hasn’t taken in over $100,000 from the DLC or the White House, unlike your other boyfriend Fred Barnes.

Is there a point you’re trying to make here but perhaps just don’t know how to formulate it? Just throw out a few words then and I’ll see if I can piece it together for you.

  38. Dennis says:

Oh God, don’t tell me your another “Digby nails it!” douchebag, Jaim.

    You are though, aren’t you?

  39. Dennis says:

Your interest in my genitals is not welcome.

Uhh, I said you don’t have any. How could I be interested in something that doesn’t exist?

And here is Exhibit A re: pencer Ackerman confirming they don’t exist:

I honestly don’t care. If he wants to say those things in private e-mails, fine.

You don’t care that he says those things because you do exactly what he suggested they do. You haven’t stopped.

It’s who you are and it’s what you do.

  40. Jaim says:

Let’s be clear, Dennis the Cowardly Bitch: You are defending Breitbart’s act of presenting an edited video as the “full” version. This video was clipped down to make her appear to be a racist for an action she took recently, when in fact the full video shows that she’s basically apologizing for harboring racist thoughts two decades ago, but she realized this was wrong at the time. (And no, at no point does the audience applaud her for any racism or racist act.)

You are defending a racist liar, Dennis the Cowardly Bitch. You are a racist liar yourself.

“Oh God, don’t tell me your another ‘Digby nails it!’ douchebag, Jaim.”

Actually, I thought the Stewart clip was spot-on and funny to boot. Breitbart is a racist fucking liar and as his staunchest defender, you are a racist fucking liar.

But I do like digby. She’s usually quite sharp. And she doesn’t take cash from the Democratic party a la your new boyfriend Fred Barnes and the GOP.

  41. Dennis says:

Teabagger movement is loaded with bigots who carry signs with the n-word and claim Obama is a secret dirty African, not a real American. — “Digby nails it! douchebag Jaim
    —–
Loaded? Really? How many pictures do you have of people with signs of the N-word they are carrying around. Or signs calling him a secret dirty African? Out of the millions attending, how many would constitute ‘loaded’? I know you think maybe one or two, but seriously, this is the kind of language fafaroo would jump on here and go on about for a week if I said it but would be silent if you did, but maybe you could show at least ten or so since you used that word ‘loaded’.

  42. Jaim says:

“It’s who you are and it’s what you do.”

    I’m a journalist now?

Jesus, you are a fuckwit Dennis the Cowardly Bitch.

  43. Dennis says:

Let’s be clear, Dennis the Cowardly Bitch: You are defending Breitbart’s act of presenting an edited video as the “full” version.

Ok, be clear, then. Please show an example of something I said where I defended Breitbart’s act of presenting an edited video as the “full” version.

The video was clipped down by someone else and he presented the video to show the audience appearing to laugh at her admitting she didn’t do all she could do to help a white farmer. He didn’t call for her firing, and he didn’t call for Ben Jealous to renounce what she said like he did, they did that all on their own. What doesn’t make one bit of sense in your scenario is that Breitbart would’ve been a complete idiot to doctor a video that he knew the NAACP would have the full speech of on tape. His explanation, which you can see from his very first words when he released the video, is consistent with his explanation now, which is that he was showing racism within the NAACP.

But I do like digby. She’s usually quite sharp. And she doesn’t take cash from the Democratic party a la your new boyfriend Fred Barnes and the GOP.–Jaim Galt

She’s a nobody who aside from occasional kudos from the likes of ‘digby nails it again’ douchebags like you and guest panel spots at the Nutroots Nation Conventions, no one would know who she was. Unlike Fred Barnes, who guys like you think you need to resort to calling him a racist with no proof to see if you can knock him back on his heels. Let me know the next time you hear a conservative journalist say anywhere that they should ‘pick a liberal, any liberal, digby, for example, and call her a race-baiter, just to get her and the liberal media back on their heels and have to defend her or denounce her.’, ok, Jaim?

  44. Dennis says:

    I’m a journalist now?

Not what I said, Jaim, you English comprehension-impaired simpleton. I said you employ the exact same strategy that Spencer Ackerman suggested of calling people racist just for effect and not because you think or have evidence that they are racist. You are the biggest proponent of that strategy here on this blog, by far.

    Obtuse much?

  45. Dennis says:

    http://www.google.co.kr/search?complete=1&hl=ko&q=teabagger+racism&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=

How many pages do I have to leaf through to find even the first sign of someone spelling out the N-word, Jaim? You said they were loaded with them.

    Please show them or STFU.

  46. Jaim says:

“She’s a nobody who aside from occasional kudos from the likes of ‘digby nails it again’ douchebags like you and guest panel spots at the Nutroots Nation Conventions, no one would know who she was.”

I’m not sure what her daily hits/pageviews are, but they’re a lot higher than some work-at-home day-trader who spends most of his waking hours trolling on a liberal blog.

And I didn’t call Barnes a racist. A GOP shill who takes tens of thousands of dollars directly from that political party? Yes indeedy.

“you employ the exact same strategy that Spencer Ackerman suggested of calling people racist just for effect and not because you think or have evidence that they are racist”

Andrew Breitbart is racist fucking scum. It’s not a tactic, it’s a fact.

But here it is, 8:45 AM. You’ve got a long day of trolling ahead of you DtCB! Keep up the good work! I’m going to a party!

  47. Prodigal says:

“His explanation, which you can see from his very first words when he released the video, is consistent with his explanation now, which is that he was showing racism within the NAACP.”

How dare we accuse Brietbart of being a racist or a liar for posting another videotape segment that was edited in order to attack black people? Have we no shame? At long last, have we no shame?

  48. Prodigal says:

I can’t believe I missed the way Dennis contradicted himself on the first read…

His explanation, which you can see from his very first words when he released the video, is consistent with his explanation now, which is that he was showing racism within the NAACP.

Let me know the next time you hear a conservative journalist say anywhere that they should ‘pick a liberal, any liberal, digby, for example, and call her a race-baiter, just to get her and the liberal media back on their heels and have to defend her or denounce her.’

Or does Dennis agree with the rest of us that Brietbart isn’t a journalist?

  49. Dennis says:

    I’m going to a party!

With an exlamation point, even. Like it’s rare you go to a party as a single 36 year old guy living by himself in a foreign country and so you have to announce this one with emphasis.

    Yeeeeesh.

  50. The Dark Avenger says:

You need to get over your OCD to comment unfavorably about 99% of Jaims’. comments on this website, Denise the Dense.

He really gets under your skin, doesn’t he?

  51. fafaroo says:

Dennis, just go the fuck away.

  52. Dennis says:

I own just as much stock in this place as you do, fafaroo. I’d like you to go away, too.

  53. Prodigal says:

So, Dennis, any plans as to when you’ll comment on how, when you wrote “Let me know the next time you hear a conservative journalist say anywhere that they should ‘pick a liberal, any liberal, digby, for example, and call her a race-baiter, just to get her and the liberal media back on their heels and have to defend her or denounce her’”, you were making a perfect description of Breitbart’s posting of the videotape?

Or are you just going to keep pretending that you didn’t write what you wrote?

  54. fafaroo says:

I own just as much stock in this place as you do, fafaroo.

Yes, Dennis, I was ordering you to leave. What a moron.

  55. Dennis says:

You seem to think you enjoy some type of elevated status here.

Aside from being the Head Lemming, that is.

  56. fafaroo says:

No. I just think you’re a very dumb person and a complete douchebag with nothing to offer except proof of same.

If you want to continue to offer evidence over and over and over again that you’re a very dumb person and a complete douchebag, fine.

But I think we’ve all got the point.

Mission accomplished, Dennis. You can go now.

  57. Prodigal says:

Out of curiosity, has Dennis admitted yet that Breitbart decided to pick Shirley Sherrod and and call her a race-baiter, just to get her and the liberal media back on their heels and have to defend her or denounce her? Or has he just done like he did when Christian Adams was proven to be a liar, and tried to avoid the subject?

  58. Zython says:

With an exlamation point, even. Like it’s rare you go to a party as a single 36 year old guy living by himself in a foreign country and so you have to announce this one with emphasis.

    Yeeeeesh.

God, Dennis, your obsession with Jaim living in a foreign country knows no bounds, does it?

  59. The Dark Avenger says:

Aside from being the Head Lemming, that is.

Says the fellow who followed Breitbart right over the cliff.

  60. Jaim says:

“I own just as much stock in this place as you do, fafaroo.”

Dennis the Cowardly Bitch, you’re practically the CEO and founder of this place (in your own twisted mind at least).

Let’s face the facts: this liberal to moderate blog is the focal point of your life. I shudder to think what a sad and miserable person you are. As a rough estimate, you contribute about 20 percent of the total comment traffic here. AND YOU HATE THIS PLACE SO MUCH OMG!!!

  61. Dennis says:

Unlike you, Jaim, I never said I hated this place. You did, yet you keep coming back. You’ve declared you were leaving several times, too, yet….here you are.

What I don’t get about you is that you can’t seem to hold any one job for very long because you get pissed at this or that, just like you get pissed at Oliver for his stance on this or that for which you don’t think he’s far left enough for you, and you say you’re going to leave, but then you keep coming back.

What I don’t get is why for your childish rant against George Bush’s America that made you leave this country-obviously you hated it and what he did to it- why don’t you come back here and help make it a better place? Instead you sit there and cut down 58% of it’s citizens and call them racist. You, a white-guilt ridden malcontent whose parents sent him to a private school in DC to avoid mixing you in with other minorities in the public school system there.

You’re an odd fellow, Jaim. Very strange.

  62. The Dark Avenger says:

You’re an odd fellow, Jaim. Very strange.

And you can’t ignore him even though he literally lives halfway around the world, Denise the Dense, so how odd, weird, crazy, etc., does that make you?

  63. Dennis says:

He embodies much of the hypocrisy of the American Left today, DA. Like Zython and his racist impersonation, both are accepted and welcomed by you guys here, because what those guys do and what they stand for is okay with you. For the most part, they are on your side, so they are condoned. Tea party people state that they don’t want racists among them, and they are not welcome, yet you guys do your best to paint the whole movement with the broad brush. But guys like Jaim and Zython, you welcome with open arms. It’s hypocritical.

  64. The Dark Avenger says:

Gee, Denise the Dense, as long as the people you mention haven’t done anything illegal, I still can’t understand why you get your panties in a wad because they have the gall to answer back to your cognitively-challenged posts here.

As for hypocracy, it’s a Right-wing nut job complaining about Progressive and Liberals commenting on a blog written by a Progressive/Liberal fellow like Oliver.

Keep digging Denise, you’ll hit paydirt someday……………

  65. Jaim says:

“What I don’t get about you is that you can’t seem to hold any one job for very long”

Wow. The dude with an E-trade account wants to compare careers with a university instructor. Interesting. And sad.

  66. Dennis says:

A few months ago you were cleaning up kindergartener vomit and now you’re giving lessons in conversational English to college kids.

    Be real, Jaim.

And yeah, I’ll compare careers with you any fucking day, time or place, Jaim Galt the Malcontent.

  67. Prodigal says:

Still aiting for Dennis to admit that Breitbart was wrong to post videotape that had been edited to remove the context in an attempt to falsely portray the NAACP as racists. Looks like my decision not to include holding my breath in my game plan was a wise one.

  68. hnice says:

hey dennis, let’s compare careers. i’m particularly interested in the part of yours that involves years of public service given that you feel ok about insulting the teaching profession.

    well?

  69. Jaim says:

“A few months ago you were cleaning up kindergartener vomit and now you’re giving lessons in conversational English to college kids.”

Actually no. Conversational English is only one of my duties, along with curriculum development and some editing work. But good to see you have such a high opinion of teachers. Isn’t your wife one? Must suck to have such a low opinion of her.

“And yeah, I’ll compare careers with you any fucking day, time or place, Jaim Galt the Malcontent.”

Funny that you say that, but then you never tell us what you do for a living. And most people wouldn’t consider day-trading a job, or at least a true career.

You really are a pathetic, cowardly bitch. I pity you and your family Dennis.

  70. The Dark Avenger says:

He embodies much of the hypocrisy of the American Left today, DA. Like Zython and his racist impersonation, both are accepted and welcomed by you guys here, because what those guys do and what they stand for is okay with you.

So, you’re writing a thesis on our activities here, or are you documenting it for a book you’re writing?

For the most part, they are on your side, so they are condoned.

Like you condone Breitbarts’ attempt to prove that the NAACP is full of racists?

    Good point.

Tea party people state that they don’t want racists among them, and they are not welcome, yet you guys do your best to paint the whole movement with the broad brush.

Yes, that’s why a Google Image search for “racist Tea Party signs” yields such gems as “Obama-what you talkin about Willis”, “Homey don’t play that”, a photoshopped Obama as witch doctor with the label “Obamacare”, etc.

But guys like Jaim and Zython, you welcome with open arms. It’s hypocritical.

Heh, you’re talking nonsense, Denise the Dense, but thanks for playing!

  71. The Dark Avenger says:

    Racist Tea Party Video

Grady Warren joined the group just three months ago. After two years of unemployment in the fishing, hunting and travel industry, he said he discovered he stood on common ground with many of the Tea Party members.

“I’ve never been politically active in the past. Just voted, paid my taxes. I’m amazed at how many folks like myself have gotten involved, well before I did,” Warren said.

The First Coast Tea Party is looking ahead to September for the organization’s second national march on the Capitol, where they estimate two million people from across the country rallied last year.

don’t pity dennis’s family — they’re white and wealthy. they can take care of themselves.

pity the millions of kids who have to deal with the fact that people think teaching is easy and should be performed by amateurs. to be fair, we teachers haven’t done much to combat this, but for every loudmouth dennis who thinks that elementary school education is basically babysitting, there are dozens of kids who are actually getting educations based on that misperception.

  76. Dennis says:

Still aiting for Dennis to admit that Breitbart was wrong to post videotape that had been edited to remove the context in an attempt to falsely portray the NAACP as racists. –Prod

He should have gotten the whole tape. He has said that as well.

  77. Dennis says:

Can I play too? Repack Rider

    Sure.

So, defame ME as a slacker, whiner or malcontent. Give it your best shot.–Robert

I have no idea who you are and your past profession is of no concern to me. I don’t call Jiam a malcontent because of his profession, either. I call him a malcontent because he is one. If you’ve followed his comments here, he has railed on just about everyone here, including calling Oliver names and saying this is a bullshit blog and promising not to come back here. Your post and background have no applicability to me calling Jaim a malcontent whatsoever.

pity the millions of kids who have to deal with the fact that people think teaching is easy and should be performed by amateurs. to be fair, we teachers haven’t done much to combat this, but for every loudmouth dennis who thinks that elementary school education is basically babysitting, there are dozens of kids who are actually getting educations based on that misperception. –hnice

You misconstrue me, hnice. I have great respect for the teaching profession.

  78. hnice says:

hey dennis, if you think i’m going to drop this shit, you’re fucking mistaken:

let’s hear about the part of your career that involved public service — the one that gives your sorry ass the right to talk shit about the teaching profession.

you’re awfully quiet on the subject. how come? never do anything for anyone but dennis? gonna pull out some bullshit about how paying your taxes is just as good as devoting your life to public service?

you’re a mouthy little bitch, dennis. let’s hear it now: what gives you the right to talk shit about early childhood education.

  79. hnice says:

fuck you you have great respect, you liar. you described early childhood education as ‘cleaning up kindergartener vomit’ in an effort to denigrate.

you’re full of shit. your story has changed because you know — you KNOW — that you were fucking out of line here. you’ve got three choices:

    1. apologize.
    2. explain how much of your life you have devoted to public service.
    3. bullshit some more.

anyone want to take some bets on which one dennis’s cowardly, hateful, thankless, ignorant, self-absorbed ass picks?

    anyone?

  80. hnice says:

seriously, i cannot WAIT. did you once work for 2 hours at a soup kitchen? spend three weekends explaining the importance of self-reliance to homeless kids? WHAT DID YOU DO, YOU WORTHLESS, SUDDENLY-QUIET ON THE SUBJECT, TEACHER-DISRESPECTING PIECE OF TRASH?

  81. Dennis says:

hey dennis, if you think i’m going to drop this shit, you’re fucking mistaken:

I don’t give a shit if you drop it or not, hnice. I can go for weeks on any topic you want to. If you think I care if you drop it or don’t drop it, you are the one who is fucking mistaken.

you’re awfully quiet on the subject. how come?

    It’s Saturday. I’m busy.

you’re a mouthy little bitch, dennis. let’s hear it now: what gives you the right to talk shit about early childhood education.

Fuck you. I have a right to talk about anything I want to, douchebag. My wife teaches early childhood education, and she’s good at it. And just because I chide Jaim about cleaning up vomit, doesn’t mean I don’t respect what he does or what early childhood education teachers do. So again, hnice, fuck you.
    —–

fuck you you have great respect, you liar. you described early childhood education as ‘cleaning up kindergartener vomit’ in an effort to denigrate.

Gosh, again, fuck you. The denigration was to Jaim, who lied about what I do to denigrate me and my profession. He started that line of denigration. And he bragged about his line of work. Embellished it above and beyond reality, actually. Do you know anything about Jaim, hnice? Have you read many of his posts denigrating Americans living in this country who do far more to better it than he does? If you don’t, try going back in the recent archives and educating yourself on what a malcontent ingrate he is. Someone who hates everybody, right and left. Read his posts to Oliver, who isn’t far left enough for him. His posts calling people racists for no reason other than he thinks its cute and fun to do it. Same with his calling people chickenhawks. After you do, then come back here and apologize to me. Asswipe.

  82. Zython says:

Of course Dennis has respect for the teaching profession. Just not when they’re teaching foreigners.

  83. fafaroo says:

I can go for weeks on any topic you want to.

ROFLMAO. By which Dennis really means he will call you an obsessed stalker over and over for weeks long after he could no longer sustain the pretense that he’s making any sense at all.

  84. Dennis says:

Ha, fafafaroo. Roflmao myself. Hnice has all the makings of fafaroovian stalker, for sure.

  85. Dennis says:

Of course Dennis has respect for the teaching profession. Just not when they’re teaching foreigners.

Provide an example of me criticizing Jaim for teaching foreigners, Mr. Late to the Meeting and Totally Clueless.

I can show you links to as many as you want of Jaim criticizing my profession, or what he thinks is my profession, anyway.

  86. Dennis says:

ROFLMAO. By which Dennis really means he will call you an obsessed stalker over and over for weeks long after he could no longer sustain the pretense that he’s making any sense at all.

Yes, hniece has all the potential of becoming a fafaroovian-type stalker.

Where did he go, anyway? On a scale of 1-10, I only turned it up to about a 2 and I think I scared him away.

  87. sqeptiq says:

  88. Prodigal says:

“He should have gotten the whole tape. He has said that as well.”

So you think it was wrong of him to have posted the tape he had, then, Dennis? Yes or no.

  89. Jaim says:

“And just because I chide Jaim about cleaning up vomit, doesn’t mean I don’t respect what he does or what early childhood education teachers do.”

Wow. What a pathetic little bitch and liar you are Dennis. Your “cleaning up kindergarten vomit” was such an obvious attempt to equate elementary education with being merely a janitor. And so now you wildly back-pedal, AND YOUR WIFE IS A GODDAMN ELEMENTARY TEACHER.

You’re such a sad and pathetic mess it’s hard to know where to begin.

Fuck you and your sorry life. And once again, please feel free to tell us what you do for a living that makes such a great contribution to society. You feel entitled to criticize everybody’s profession but you won’t state what your own is.

    Cowardly. Little. Bitch.

For what it’s worth, I teach various levels of English, including conversational. I’m also involved in curriculum development for the university and I do some editing work on their English-language publications. Granted, the third thing isn’t in my contract but I’m happy to help out with it. Professors will also come to me for help editing English-language papers that they’re submitting for publication. I make a little extra for that, which is kind of a win-win.

It’s a lot more satisfying and fun than being a day-trader, that’s for sure.

  90. Dennis says:

Wow. What a pathetic little bitch and liar you are Dennis. Your “cleaning up kindergarten vomit” was such an obvious attempt to equate elementary education with being merely a janitor.

Jaim, you’re a fucking weasel. You forget that you blog-whore here, and you blogged about having to clean up vomit. No, actually I’m sure you didn’t forget, you’re just too much of a weasel to admit that you knew that’s what I was talking about.

You’re the douchebag who routinely makes fun of other people’s jobs and careers and then you can’t take it when you get a little jab back in your direction. Every job has ups and downs, good things and bad things. And that’s what you blog-whore about, shit about your drab personal life that you go to other peoples’ blog in the hopes of directing traffic to your blog. The kind of thing most bloggers don’t appreciate. So you come on here and berate Oliver even as you blog-whore on his website.

You define the word weasel. As for cleaning up vomit, I’d wager that I’ve cleaned up 100 times more of it that you have, you sensitive little twerp.

For what it’s worth, I teach various levels of English

So you took a job as a kindergarten teacher to get over to South Korea, fulfilled the one year contract, then bolted. Evidently things weren’t good enough yet in America, Barack Obama’s America as it were since you said you had to get away from George Bush’s America. FOr which you claimed you would come back as soon as things were ok for you to come back. America isn’t good enough for you as it is. It still has to get better for you. Never mind that you’re not doing a thing to make it better except bitching about it while you constantly berate its citizens who are all doing far more than you are to make it a better country.

It’s a lot more satisfying and fun than being a day-trader, that’s for sure.

I wouldn’t know, I’ve never done either one. Have you ever day traded? And why do you ask me what I do so often and then call me something you obviously know I don’t do? Oh, could that be an obvious attempt on your part to equate such an obvious attempt to equate a successful career in finance with being merely a guy with a computer at home and a brokerage account who flips stocks around?

    Asswipe.

  91. Jaim says:

“and you blogged about having to clean up vomit.”

Nope. You’re a liar. I did have a co-teacher deal with an accident once, however. I’ll admit, once we calmed the kid down it was kind of funny. No harm no foul.

“You’re the douchebag who routinely makes fun of other people’s jobs and careers”

Actually no, Dennis the Cowardly Bitch, I just make fun of you. You’re always taking shots at the teachers, academics, and so on here (not to mention Oliver’s career) and you have yet to tell us exactly what you do for a living. From what I can gather, you’re a day-trader and yes, I make fun of day-traders because that’s tantamount to saying “I have a computer and internet connection but no job.”

“I’d wager that I’ve cleaned up 100 times more of it that you have”

Oh, no doubt. So what was your point in the first place, fuckwit?

“So you took a job as a kindergarten teacher to get over to South Korea, fulfilled the one year contract, then bolted.”

I got a job offer that paid more and offered more opportunities long-term. This is called “being successful.” You should try it some time.

“America isn’t good enough for you as it is.”

America is fine. I just happen to enjoy my time abroad right now. Only a bigot like yourself would have a problem with this.

You really should take a break from the internets, Dennis the Cowardly Bitch. And apologize to your wife and other teachers while you’re at it.

And thank you once again for reading my blog. I consider you to be a miserable piece of shit and a failure as a human being, but hey, you’re one of my most dedicated readers. Thank you!

  92. Dennis says:

Blog whore Jaim, you said you left the US because you couldn’t stand ‘George Bush’s America’ and you’re too much of a coward to own up to it now. And your job there paying you less than $28,000 USD couldn’t have been more than what an entry level teacher makes in Virginia and damn sure not what one makes in a union state like Maryland. Maybe net though, since you don’t pay US taxes. Which is my whole point. You want everyone else to pay taxes, you want us who pay more in taxes to pay even more now, all while you leave a country you said you couldn’t stand any longer and not pay any US taxes and wait for it to get good enough for you to come back to. All things you have admitted to. You’re a crapweasel, Jaim.

And back to your blatant blog-whoring, when Oliver banned you and me, I emailed him and told him he did the right thing. You went on your blog and berated him for having the unmitigated gall to ban you. So you blog here and link to your blog, you berate him here on his own blog, and you berate him on your blog. And you somehow think you’re not a weasel for doing any of it.

  93. Jaim says:

I pay US taxes. And Korean ones too for that matter (for my health insurance). And I’m genuinely curious as to how you know how much I make in my new job. Hmm? More importantly, why do you care?

Your obsession with me knows no bounds. Kind of scary. But I know you’re a cowardly bitch who would go down in one punch, so no worries if we ever meet in person.

But with all the advertising on my blog, it’s true that this site allows me to rake in tens of thousands of internet dollars every month. You caught me, Dennis the Cowardly Bitch! Tonight before bed I shall fill my bejewelled bath-tub with said cash and wash myself with it! Joy!

  94. Jaim says:

“when Oliver banned you and me, I emailed him and told him he did the right thing.”

Good to know Oliver has made you second-in-command around here.

And I know you’re a dumbfuck, so let me explain the humor here: you really think you call some of the shots around here. LOL. You’re the definition of walking little-man syndrome.

  95. The Dark Avenger says:

Would that Denise the Dense had a blog to whore in the first place.

  96. Jaim says:

He honestly thinks that just because he’s the most prolific commenter here he actually has some sort of editorial pull.

    Fucking priceless.

  97. Dennis says:

No, Jaim, I don’t think I have any editorial pull. Unlike you, though, I don’t go back to my blog and whine about being banned like a little 5 year old who’s been sent to his room with no TV, like you did with Bruce Henry, who felt the need to write you and console you and your tender little feelings.

    Malcontent whiner.

  98. The Dark Avenger says:

You don’t have a blog to go back to, Dennis, and you lack the wits of someone like FrankDi Salle, who at least has contributed a good representation of what a retired, slightly dissolute, Romulan should look like.

  99. Dennis says:

    I pay US taxes.

No, Jaim, you don’t. You’re lying. There’s a thresshold on dividends that you don’t come close to approaching, and you couldn’t have blown through your L-T cap loss carry-forwards in order to pay US capital gains in ’09. Stop the bullshit.
    —-

And Korean ones too for that matter (for my health insurance).

Hey, that’s just great for Korea. And great that the Korean kids you’re teaching will be coming to America and taking our jobs, and that gives you great pride and joy.
    —–

And I’m genuinely curious as to how you know how much I make in my new job. Hmm?

Because you talk about it here, too. You’re a blabbermouth.
    —-

More importantly, why do you care?

I don’t. Only to the point you berate people here who are working their asses off in this country to get by and paying US taxes that go to bettering this country, while you don’t pay them. How much you make in South Korea determines how much you would pay in US taxes if you met a certain minimum, which you don’t come close to. So you don’t pay US taxes yet you claim that you do out of false bravado and a sense of embarrassment for being exposed as the blatant hypocrite you are.

Your obsession with me knows no bounds. Kind of scary. But I know you’re a cowardly bitch who would go down in one punch, so no worries if we ever meet in person.

Well, well. Threats of violence, Little Jaim?

Now why in the world wouldn’t you have told me a long time ago that you were coming to DC this August?

Same reason you didn’t post here last Christmas for two weeks when you said you’d be coming back home then?

Big talk on a blog. And someone else’s blog at that.

Someone else’s blog that you blog-whore at.

  100. Dennis says:

You don’t have a blog to go back to, Dennis,……
    Obsessed attention-seeking Stalker Dark Avenger

I don’t care to file for and seek the requisite approvals, oversight and disclaimers from my compliance area that it would involve, DA. It’s not worth it.

  101. Jaim says:

“the Korean kids you’re teaching will be coming to America and taking our jobs”

Wow. You really are a racist fuck. Thanks for sharing.

“Only to the point you berate people here who are working their asses off in this country to get by and paying US taxes that go to bettering this country”

Wow. So you’re a wing-nut who supports higher taxes. Don’t you like lose your secret handshake privileges for that or something?

“Now why in the world wouldn’t you have told me a long time ago that you were coming to DC this August?”

Because I don’t really give a shit what you think or what you do? Jesus, you really are a stalker.

“Big talk on a blog. And someone else’s blog at that.”

Wait, did you just type that Dennis the Cowardly Bitch?

Honestly, I’m glad you’re here. You’re always good for a laugh, although there are times when I think I should contact Virginia child protective services.

  102. The Dark Avenger says:

I must commend you for your command of corporate bullshit-speak, Dennis, but your best bet is to borrow from Melville:

    I would prefer not to.

  103. Dennis says:

That’s not a racist statement and Korean is not a race, fyi.

Actually, they don’t have to come to America to take our jobs. They can do it from there. That’s why they hired you, Jaim.

And no, I don’t support higher taxes, especially not now. There’s that fafaroovian “So….”. What I said in no way was an indication of supporting higher taxes. That you do support higher taxes though, and berate people who don’t when you pay none at all is the ultimate in crapweasel hypocrisy.

  104. Dennis says:

I must commend you for your command of corporate bullshit-speak, Dennis….Obsessed stalker DA

DA, you obviously haven’t been reading the financial sections of the P’ville Recorder when you get up so early to brew coffee for your wife, have you?

If you had been doing that instead of coming here for your Obama-boom financial updates, you’d have a bit of a clue that all areas of compliance have gone to ridiculous levels of hyper-alert since the financial crisis.

  105. Jaim says:

“Korean is not a race, fyi”

My God, you are truly the dumbest person I’ve ever encountered on the internet.

Not that racial identity is ever the be-all or end-all, but yes little Dennis, Korean is very much an ethnic group (and a cultural and linguistic one as well).

If you don’t believe me, ask a Korean person what they think.

  106. Dennis says:

And ok, DA, I’ll say it in laymen’s terms… it would be a major pain in the ass to even start my own blog, and the things I’d want to talk about the most, I probably wouldn’t be able to without getting nasty messages of cease and desist from Big Brother. So yeah, you’re right, I’d prefer not to.

  107. Dennis says:

Not that racial identity is ever the be-all or end-all, but yes little Dennis, Korean is very much an ethnic group (and a cultural and linguistic one as well).

What I said is not a racist statement, it’s just you being obsessed with racial identity politics when you read anything at all that you can tie to race. Stating that you’re being hired by South Korea to teach South Koreans English, which has a benefit to their economy, is not being racist toward Koreans. You’re calling that racism is just you being the asshole race-baiter that you are.

  108. Dennis says:

I like South Korea and I like South Koreans. I’d like to visit there one day and I don’t begrudge you one bit simply for having moved there. I begrudge you for moving there and then berating Americans the way you do, and for saying you moved there because you could no longer stand Bush’s America.

  109. Jaim says:

Dennis the Cowardly Bitch, you said Korean is not a race.

    You are wrong, yet again.

There are two issues here. 1) You are a racist fuckwit and 2) you are really stupid. These things aren’t mutually exclusive.

“begrudge you for moving there and then berating Americans the way you do”

Once again, you’re one of the few Americans I make fun of because 1) You are a racist fuckwit and 2) you are really stupid.

“or saying you moved there because you could no longer stand Bush’s America.”

Never said that. I moved because my job was boring and didn’t pay all that well, so I got a new one that’s more interesting and allows me to travel in Asia more easily.

Why is that so hard to mash through your eggshell of a skull?

  110. Dennis says:

You did say you left Bush’s America. Every new job has pluses and minuses and of course you went there for good reasons and not simply to flee a country you said you no longer liked, but you did say that was one big reason why you left. How little your job here paid had very little to do with George W. Bush’s policies.

And now you’re denying you even said that, like the crapweasel you are.

  111. Jaim says:

The “big reason” was that George Bush drove the American economy into the toilet. And I really like to travel and live abroad. So it all worked out in the end.

But keep trying to twist it all up, Dennis the Cowardly Bitch. I spent my Sunday hiking and doing some chores. You will spend the rest of yours trolling this blog.

    TTFN

  112. Dennis says:

I spent my Sunday hiking and doing some chores.

Yay for Jaim. My God, a party two nights ago and now chores and a hike. Maybe I should move there too and see what I’m missing.

  113. Bruce Henry says:

Just so you know, Dennis, and don’t feel left out, if you DID have your own blog, I would have written you and consoled you and your tender little feelings when you were banned.

And just so you both know, in my opinion this personal war you guys have going on in the Oliver Willis comments section is fucking tiresome as hell for the rest of us to read. It’s like a car wreck on the side of the road – you can’t help but rubberneck when you see it, but you sure as hell don’t look forward to seeing another one in a few miles, know what I’m sayin’?

In other words, YOU GUYS ARE RUINING THIS BLOG, and I wish you’d both cut it out.

  114. Dennis says:

You’re right, Bruce. I agree with everything you said, except my feelings weren’t hurt. But you would’ve told me the same thing you told Jaim, or about the same thing. I would’ve respectfully disagreed with you then, though.
