    I want them to keep doing exactly as they’re doing. Let the Tea Party tear the GOP right down the middle. And then we’ll see who controls congress in the Fall.

    Reminding voters what dopes Republicans are doesn’t do anyone any good, however, if the White House and Congressional Democrats continue extending credibility to Republicans by trying to argue facts and policy.

    I suffered through eight years of the Bush maladministration, hanging on because I still held out a glimmer of hope that the Democrats would grow a set with majorities and the White House.

    I have been disabused of my last remaining speck of naivete.
