Utah’s Anti-Immigrant Hit List Compiled By “Concerned Citizens of the United States”
In Utah, someone has composed a list of 1,300 “illegal immigrants” that contains names, addresses, and most disturbingly the due dates of pregnant women. It was mailed to the media and an investigation is underway to see if it was compiled by state employees with access to this information.
This behavior is about as un-American as it gets.

“my hero!”-Greta Van Susteren
Yes, in NAZI Germany, John Q. Publics were rewarded for denunciations. This is how the Gestapo had so much success. I see that right wing nutbags have now fully incorporated these techniques.
Given the policies of this country and the people who support them, I’d say that behavior is pretty American.
Problem is, what it means to be American has changed draastically over the last 30 years.
an investigation is underway to see if it was compiled by state employees with access to this information.
If you didn’t care about this when the target was Joe the Plumber, why should we believe that you care now?
“I have a list here….” How very McCarthy-ian.
SF: Never mind who may or may not have done this, do you think this is acceptable behavior for anyone toward anyone? Yes or No?
I’ll answer that question just as soon as you answer the exact same question when it was posed r.e. Joe the Plumber last year.
I await your response…
A head did roll for the woman who invaded “Joe the Plumber”s privacy, and I don’t recall anyone getting hot under the collar about her suspension from her job:
The director of an Ohio human services agency has been suspended for a month without pay and faces review by a county prosecutor for using confidential state databases to find personal information on “Joe the Plumber.” She will also face review for using her state e-mail address to help Barack Obama’s fundraising by identifying potential contributors and offering her own $2,500 donation.
Helen E. Jones-Kelley, head of Ohio’s Department of Jobs and Family Services, authorized the searches within days of Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher gaining national attention during a presidential debate in which both candidates took turns pitching their tax plans as best for “Joe the Plumber,” as Wurzelbacher became known after a chance run in with Obama at an Ohio campaign stop.
Of course, she could’ve plead temporary insanity and said she thought she was a Republican.
Of course it wasn’t OK. Did you expect me to dodge and play “look over there” like you and the other trolls here?
Attention, Mark Rosenthal: Did you for get that the list is comprised of criminals not American citizens? I guess the right wing nuts do want Americans to know how many communist they are trying to import from Mexico, illegaly.

Way to take the high ground and not act like a kindergartner, Farris. I mean, you could have actually answered bikelib’s question and then continued with “I’ve answered your question. Now are you going to answer mine?”
But why start demonstrating any maturity when you can instead continue to look-over-there and pout “No, you answer my question first!”?
